Shy Tuttle injury

I went there because I was recruited to play basketball and it wasn't for me. I was going to redshirt, but went in a different direction instead because I was just done with basketball. Too much high school, AAU, just done. NC WESLEYAN didn't make matters better. Ended up playing college tennis for them and then transferred to UT. Best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm 35, I live at the beach, I've married this beautiful sorority girl from Memphis and it's all worked out pretty well.

I would like to beat ****ing UGA this week though.

E&H was a great place to go to school. Loved my time there. Wish I would've went there to start. It humbled me. But yeah screw the DAWGS! GBO!

That part of VA is great. I actually enjoy most of it.

Isn't E&H famous for the their crazy alignment play Spurrier used to use? Guard/center/guard with the tackles split out wide

Yes and they were they first team to play UT at what is now Neyland in 1921. Fun fact.

Moral of this story is don't piss of Warrior. He'll pop you...Pretty ballsy to fight someone twice your size, but I love the intensity. Word is Tuttle questioned his work ethic and Warrior took exception to it.

Guys, this could be more than a laughing matter. There are a lot of different kind of orbital injuries -- some way more than a black eye. Google it.

Haha! Maybe i was wrong and his azz is soft. He's what, 6'2", 315 and he gets whooped by a 185-190 # defensive back? How you going to fight off and dominate 300+# offensive linemen if you can't handle a freaking defensive back? Good Lort, as Madea would say.

Have to put your hands on him first. Fighting isn't football.

So a veteran like tuttle is trying to be a leader, and we need leaders. Warrior is a guy that obviously hasnt played to the level we expect, which is probably a result of a poor work ethic (its not genetics or lack of athletic ability).

So when tuttle, who should have our respect, tries to be a leader he gets assaulted with a helmet.

And volnation gushes about how badass warrior is. And how shy must be soft. Bear in mind they know nothing about what actually went down, and neither do i. But if your first instinct is to applaud Warrior, and call shy soft and imply hes less a man somehow...well congratulations, you're probably a wonderful human.

My first instinct was, "Good God, wtf is going on, Butch hasnt had institutional control in a year or two."

Second thought after more info is, "Warrior probably should be kicked off the team."

And yes orbital bone injuries can lead to or involve all sorts of "bada$$" things like blindness and eyeballs hanging outside the head, dangling. Awesome.

There is nothing here to be proud of, especially from Warrior's perspective. This aint a comic book or bruce willis movie you imbeciles.

Warrior played; Tuttle sat. My interpretation, at least until I'm corrected, is that Warrior was not in the wrong.

I was told about the injury to Tuttle today, by a booster friend who knows some folks in the AD. He has a severe black-eye (orbital injury), received some time last week, reportedly inflicted by a very popular freshman safety. His eye is apparently swollen shut. This is why he didn't play.

That is all the detail he had this morning, but was going to try and find out the circumstances around the altercation.

Oh lawd. Lol

Either that or we are razor thin at safety, and Butch knew hed have trouble beating UMASS with warrior out.
