no one on the 90-91 teams messed with Dale. Stayed out of his way... bought him shots of Jack on bourbon street after Virginia game.. he was small looking but oh so tough

I will tell you for a fact Kevin Mays didn't put up with Carters antics.

Warrior whistled at butch's wife and Tuttle didn't take too kindly to that so warrior punched him. Then berry intervened and warrior repeatedly punched him in the groin. Jashon Robertson videoed the whole thing and posted it on twitter

Okay buttercup. Can't back your rumor up with facts can you? Lol.

I posted what I know, and how I came about it. Ask LWS if you don't believe it. The story is now all over Twitter, and rival team boards.

Or you can choose to believe Tuttle fell on a helmet like Butch asserts.

Not liking the story doesn't change it.

Did he really say he fell on a helmet?

Yep....first said football is an "emotional sport", then try to sell the story that he fell on a helmet, then got mad at the question about Tuttle, called the media "fake news", and abruptly ended the press conference.

So a veteran like tuttle is trying to be a leader, and we need leaders. Warrior is a guy that obviously hasnt played to the level we expect, which is probably a result of a poor work ethic (its not genetics or lack of athletic ability).

So when tuttle, who should have our respect, tries to be a leader he gets assaulted with a helmet.

And volnation gushes about how badass warrior is. And how shy must be soft. Bear in mind they know nothing about what actually went down, and neither do i. But if your first instinct is to applaud Warrior, and call shy soft and imply hes less a man somehow...well congratulations, you're probably a wonderful human.

My first instinct was, "Good God, wtf is going on, Butch hasnt had institutional control in a year or two."

Second thought after more info is, "Warrior probably should be kicked off the team."

And yes orbital bone injuries can lead to or involve all sorts of "bada$$" things like blindness and eyeballs hanging outside the head, dangling. Awesome.

There is nothing here to be proud of, especially from Warrior's perspective. This aint a comic book or bruce willis movie you imbeciles.

You make two great points here. Because of Butch's inept leadership, I think this program is divided.

In one group, you have players like Dobbs and Barnett who really care and give their best all the time.

But, in another group, we have the malcontents who half azz it, but expect to show up on gameday and be announced as a starter.

We need more Tuttles IMO. But, sadly, Butch and his country club culture aren't going to produce them. That is why you don't see players being developed.

Doesn't make sense does it? If Warrior was a guilty party, then why was he playing as usual when Robertson and Tuttle were MIA? Mighty strange. Proves to me we don't know what, if anything, went down.

Something went down between Tuttle and Warrior...why is what we don't know.

You do realize fights break out all the time at every D-1 college program. Would you prefer a bunch of non-passionate pansies that are fine getting pushed around?

One would think teammates aren't trying to push one another around. There are plenty of oponents and enemies wearing other team's colors.

Now that's the kind of story I like to hear, thanks LWS.....

Gotcha, but why are people assuming Warrior was an automatic instigator of a fight and making him the fall guy based on his Dad's image as a tough guy? I think he would have been benched for slugging Tuttle with a helmet. If they had a disagreement and it resulted in fisticuffs, then it certainly doesn't warrant suspending anyone. Seriously doubt if he clocked Tuttle with his helmet.
