Me either, so I used this new thing called "Google" and read up on him. Seems he did a darn good job at Vandy turning that defense into a very credible SEC caliber unit and followed that up by a couple of good years at PSU. Not sure if he's the second coming but based on his recent credentials and those of the guy he's replacing it seems to me he's an upgrade.

Just saw this on BING

Bob Shoop is currently the defensive coordinator at Pennsylvania State University. However, Shoop will accept a DC position at the University of Tennessee making him the third highest paid DC in the SEC. Shoop served as the head football coach at Columbia University from 2003 to 2005.

FWIW, Shoop's Wikipedia page already has him as the DC hire at Tennessee. It says he's in Knoxville to finalize things..
