While I would love for a long, protracted mess for Michigan -it is not gonna happen

The young lady in question apparently has NFL connections via her family

As someone else stated, she will essentially be given a lifetime job-either at UM or for a big booster in exchange for keeping her mount shut. Maybe even a nice little check also. Honestly, it's a great deal for her. Lifetime safety from this point without having to ever worry about finding another job

The whole thing will percolate around for a while but the actual playoff games are starting in 5 days. Those are gonna take the oxygen outta the room for anything else involving CFB.


There will be no long term impact to UM as a result of this. I guarantee you that. They have already crossed the T's and dotted the i's to keep it under wraps.

Somebody is going to crack at some point and write a book about the whole sordid mess at Michigan and their ignoring all sorts of malfeasance and sleaze in exchange for a title.

True, but as I have said many times in threads about the whole situation-that assumes anyone still cares lol.

These days life moves so fast that there will be another bigger scandal somewhere in major sports in 3 months.

This will get memory holed a bit and in two years when someone makes a reference to it, you will be like "oh yeah" and wonder whatever happened to those people.

Just the way things go these days

I doubt he really goes to jail.

He can afford a good lawyer and likely has no priors. They will build a narrative that it was a manic episode brought upon by a very public firing, and that no physical harm was actually caused. The most likely outcome is that he will pay fine, get time served plus probation, and be forced to take counseling for a specific amount of time.

My “30 to life” comment was a snarky reply to the “30 for 30” post and not intended to be taken seriously.

You're assuming the deal wasn't made?

She spilled the ENTIRE story to UM and THEY decided what to release.

Notice that all we were told was he was having an inappropriate relationship. We dunno when it started. We dunno how it started. We dunno if Moore maybe broke other university rules or laws in connection with her. We dunno if she was the only inappropriate relationship-maybe she was aware of others. We dunno if maybe Moore told her the full details on the sign stealing info.

Basically she potentially holds quite a bit of embarrassing info to UM.

Setting her up with a lifetime job of busy work for a decent salary is a small price to pay. Some positions just need a head there. I have employed quite a few secretaries over the years. All with different personalities of course, but they could all do the same stuff

Everyone loses in this situation. I pray Moore gets the help he needs and his mistress can put her life back together. They face the consequences for their sinful decisions.

The ones I truly feel sorry for are the innocent victims. Moore's wife and his children. They don't deserve any of this. Their lives have been turned upside down and will never be the same. That's the real tragedy in all this.

They all need prayer not ridicule, and none of us is any better. We've all sinned and fallen short.

Don’t forget he will play the addiction card. “Sex addiction”. He’s dm’ing girls at halftime of the Ohio State game, talking to multiple Onlyfans models. This guy is definitely gonna be diagnosed as a sex addict by some doctor.
