Terrible timing for the Wolverines, clearly, but you don't exactly get to slow roll for-cause dismissals. Will be interesting to see how big a fish they can land at this stage in the game.

Rumor, and we know how much salt to take those with, is that it has something to do with a female staffer.

For cause...it was my understanding that the sign stealing punishments had been doled out and we'd moved on. I wonder if this is something new.

Michigan: "U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately. Following a University investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member."

This. It’s been a rumor for awhile. I know a booster for them and he was led to believe it was all rumors. This was in November. I’m assuming it’s true though.

Where does he go? There are zero high profile schools without a head coach. I’d take him as an analyst on the “coach rehabilitation” circuit.

Given who is still available, I’d 100% give Jeff Monken a call. The guy is a damn good football coach.
