You have to understand something about VN. There is a clique in the politics forum and if you're not in it, then you're not a good contributor. If you have different opinions than the clique then you're less than them.

I do not always agree with VM but he brings some good points that the clique usually do not agree with. Therefore they berate VM for his threads. It's actually pretty pathetic. Are all of VM threads and posts good? No way. Does he bring different viewpoints and some good contributions? Absolutely.

Or maybe he just gets called out for obvious trolls, partisan views and faux outrage . . . Just like he complains about LG doing.

If Mav actually had something worthwhile to contribute to discussions I'd give him a pass. I don't mind others with different political views but all Mav does is spews hate and rehashed talking points.
