I stand by an assessment that I made of Arian in the 2005 season. Sometimes it seemed like the only offensive player on the field that actually wanted to compete. That may sound strange to some who think that Arian had a knack for avoiding rather than initiating contact.
He was not a premier back by UT standards. He had some of the worst luck in terms of OL and fumbling than any player that I can remember. All in all he represented the team and the University well and provided a serviceable option in the backfield, nothing more and nothing less.
Veek, my friend. Veek.
