Section AA last night

So it sounds like if I understand correctly, we have a Yankee from Boston, who is using profanities and standing
the entire game, intentionally being rude and determined to do the opposite of what all his fellow Vol fans in that section would like so that they might also enjoy the game.

Here's to you "special" standing Vol fan.:hi:http://www.volnation.com/forum/images/smilies/default/hi.gif

As far as I can tell, I am the only person living in Boston who posted in this thread. But, if you're talking to me, than you're being foolish. Not a single part of that would describe me or my actions.

So, back to your first sentence, no, you don't understand correctly. It seems to me you are confusing stories.

if i want to sit i sit at home. Is there any kind of policy on this that they can actually kick you out for standing?

I had the same experience at the Auburn game. Bunch of blue-hairs behind me complaining. This really diminishes the experience of attending the game.

On another note, I was at a Titans game at LP Field and witnessed the ushers threatening to throw fans out for standing. This is rediculous. If you don't want to raise hell for the VOLS, give you tickets to a real fan. It's a football game not a social event.

Pro fans don't stand the whole game, at least not in Philadephia, Washington, Atlanta, et al. They stand at critical times, big plays, etc. That's it.

I think you certainly have a point about standing the whole time. If you are the only one, then you may want to reconsider for key moments. It was disappointing that I was the only one standing in the 1st half for defensive third downs. I didn't appreciate being told to sit down at those moments...but I was also in front of one serious "donkey".

yet another reason i dont like the NFL. not as much passion as college football.

I went to the UK UT game in 2006. I had great seats 30 yard line 12 rows up. BUT I sat beside an old couple and they kept giving me looks like I was an idiot b/c I was cheering. I respect my elders but if I go to a game to support the team I love, by golly, Im gonna holla all night long if we are winning. So those old people can shove it and people who want a peaceful outing in Neyland.......STAY THE HECK HOME!

You should have grabbed their Depends and gave them a wedgie. :eek:lol:
