In a way it is better being a 3 seed instead of a 2 seed. If Auburn/Alabama should beat Georgia, they will be really tired by the time they play us. (Trying to look for the positives). I don’t want to hear any excuse that the refs are against us or we are a tired team. Let’s play good team ball. Let’s go Lady Vols.

LVs still at #13 in last pre-tourney bracket reveal --- I think they must win 1 game in the SEC tourney to ultimately get a top 16 seed, but more realistically, probably need 2 wins --- winning the tournament would be GREAT and erase all doubt (we can dream)

We'll do it with one guaranteed. Two would probably get us a three seed.

LVs need to just play and not concern themselves with the consequences --- seems to me that when they feel pressured, they can't hit a shot, ever
Four top players we depend on were 13 pf 48 from the field. I think they should take a look in the mirror and if they are missing early try to get it to someone else to shoot. Rae at 4 for 18, Dye 5 for 15, Puckett 2 for 9, and Walker 2 for 8 is just not how these players should be shooting this time of the season. Sad to think they only had to make two more of the 48 shots they took to win the last game.

I agree. Play on. The refs are going to suck, the opponents are going to foul excessively and not get called, the Negas are going to try their best to post ignorant drivel hoping a team member will read it and pass it along and ESPN is going to drive the narrative. Don't need to worry about any of that because:

The Negas don't matter.

The worry warts who like to perpetuate doom and gloom don't matter.

The refs matter but still suck and will likely determine the outcome in a close game.

Just play with reckless abandon and own the game. Don't let those who don't matter get under your skin.

Just win one SEC game is what we need to do for sure. Relieve my mind and get us in the top 16 so the first two NCAA games will be at home. I'll take whatever we can get after that but that one win is huge. Were not playing until 9:30 eastern time so what is that all about. Last time we played one of these midnight games it was a nightmare.

Some way, some how these Lady Vols need to learn how to play a 40 minute game. They often have a 10 to 15 minute stretch where they look like they could beat anybody in the country, but the rest of the game they are lackadaisical. The only way they will win championships is to figure out how to play hard the full 40 minutes.

There have been games in the SEC tournament that we needed to win just to make the NCAA Tourney those last few years when Holly was coach. We are definitely in this year now the only question needed to be answered is do we get to play at home.

Oh no.......progress??? The pessimists are having difficulty dealing with it. Most likely someone will be along shortly to poo poo on your post and tell us what you should have said.

I see Charlie Creme-jeans is lobbying to get the LVs knocked out of the top 16. What a jerk. Reminds me of espn lobbying for some DB named Woodson to get the Heisman over Peyton Manning. We all know how that turned out.
He is supposed to be an expert at determining the seeds and we see he doesn't have a clue. I totally question his last bracket of the top sixteen and turns out has missed about half of the teams. I guess I should give him a little credit for getting the number one seeds right.

Could you imagine him trying to determine the mens seeding? S.O.S., quality wins, resume, net scoring over the course of a season have to be taken into consideration. Not just what happened the last 3-4 games as the deciding factor. That seems to be how he determines the seeding. That may have been the way it was before the huge increase of parity in the women's game, but times are a-changing.

Yes I got disturbed over nothing as I was believing what he was selling although my own numbers and evaluations didn't match what he had. He totally confused me until he didn't. Thank you NCAA for setting it straight. Glad we have that reveal he has proven to be useless.

Been an up and down season. I'm hoping for a strong finish. Kellie is doing a damn good job and I hope this works out for her. Lady Vols have to put the injured out of their minds, make a lot of shots that score, defend...especially the three ball, and get 'er done! We should play well and rested in Nashville. Go Lady Vols and win the SEC Championship!
