Don't look at the added games in isolation. If you do, it looks like Mizzou got royally screwed. In reality, they had by far the easiest schedule in the SEC before Covid-19 changes. Adding Bama and LSU to their slate didn't even move them into the top 5 of schedule difficulty.

No, the fellas who totally got hosed are those pigs from Arkansas. They already had a rough row to hoe, and that was before UGa and Florida got added to their dance card. They're the one team in our conference who are scheduled to play EVERY SINGLE ranked program.*

We're not far behind, at 5 ranked opponents. We, South Carolina, and the two Mississippi schools each play 5 ranked.

Most of the league plays 4 ranked foes.

UGa and Florida are skating; they each only have to play 3.

I think TAM gets too much credit for being a “tough out” too. What was their biggest win in 2019? Mississippi State? South Carolina? Or squeaking by Oklahoma State in their bowl game?

They got trounced by Bama, LSU beat them by 50, and they lost handily to Clemson and Auburn. I guess their best game was they hung tough in a 19-13 loss to Georgia? They had zero upset wins, I guess they get some credit for winning the 50-50 games against the comparable teams (Miss State, Ole Miss, SC, etc.

But overall, I think Texas AM is an average team and are getting too much credit for being a tough game.

Their schedule is literally exactly the same as ours minus swapping MSU for TAMU. We played MSU last year so that wasn’t happening. I’m excited about that game, the possibility of Leach embarrassing Kirby is real.

Not with the roster he can field this season.

The SEC office obviously favored Florida and Georgia with this draw. They wanted to make sure their highest ranked teams got easy draws. Makes logical sense from a playoff standpoint but still unfair.

I would love for us to beat them so the SEC officials who gave them easy schedules hoping they make the playoffs end up looking dumb.

MSU is a team that fired their coach and will likely be picked 6th in the West. AM is a borderline Top 10 team. Not exactly the same...

Talent wise they are. But their QB can be very bad sometimes. Holds them back.

Most preseason rankings had them from 8 (high) to 13 (low). I personally think its a little over-rated but many people think of them as a Top 10 team (or just outside the Top 10).
