I don't think SOS was best method. Let's use UGA as an example. In the 2014-2019 seasons their conference schedule was easier since they didn't have to play you all. In 2020, they have to play you all to balance it out. They get rewarded for playing you all this year by drawing the two worst teams in the West.

And Auburn, Alabama, MS State, and Arky isnt the same as AM, Auburn, Arky, and Alabama...

Their schedule is literally exactly the same as ours minus swapping MSU for TAMU. We played MSU last year so that wasn’t happening. I’m excited about that game, the possibility of Leach embarrassing Kirby is real.

MSU is a team that fired their coach and will likely be picked 6th in the West. AM is a borderline Top 10 team. Not exactly the same...

Every school had teams added based on the conference record from the previous year. It's impossible to make it 100% even, but other than LSU getting a laughable draw, they evened it out pretty well.

It’s not. Their schedule is slightly easier due to that one difference but it’s not like we were just egregiously wronged or Fulmer rolled over.

Their schedule was supposed to be more difficult this year since their prior years were easier (in theory).

Don't look at the added games in isolation. If you do, it looks like Mizzou got royally screwed. In reality, they had by far the easiest schedule in the SEC before Covid-19 changes. Adding Bama and LSU to their slate didn't even move them into the top 5 of schedule difficulty.

No, the fellas who totally got hosed are those pigs from Arkansas. They already had a rough row to hoe, and that was before UGa and Florida got added to their dance card. They're the one team in our conference who are scheduled to play EVERY SINGLE ranked program.*

We're not far behind, at 5 ranked opponents. We, South Carolina, and the two Mississippi schools each play 5 ranked.

Most of the league plays 4 ranked foes.

UGa and Florida are skating; they each only have to play 3.

Here's how it rolls out:
  • Arkansas - play 6 ranked - A&M, Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGa, Florida
  • Miss St - play 5 ranked - A&M, Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGa
  • Vols - play 5 ranked - Florida, Bama, UGa, A&M, Auburn
  • Ole Miss - play 5 ranked - Auburn, LSU, Bama, Florida, A&M
  • South Carolina - play 5 ranked - Florida, A&M, UGa, LSU, Auburn

If the game happens Mullen will be living rent free in Franks head. I don’t expect much out of him

Two in row at Auburn.

Only consolation is we didn't get LSU which I think is slightly to significantly better than aTm and Auburn.

Tough arse home slate with FL, AL, aTm, UK, and Mizzou

No we don’t. Mizzou is worse than ours and Arkansas is like LSU last year kind of difficult.
