For my money LSU is the best team in the SEC right now. I would put them at #3. I would put Oregon at #2 based on their struggles with Stanford last year. I think Stanford might be the best team in the country right now.

I wouldn't be shocked to see an Florida State/Clemson vs. Oregon/Stanford in the BCS game this year.

I agree that the SEC is down simply because there isn't a team in the East with a complete football team.

Exactly why would you say that LSU is the best so far? Who have they played that leads you to believe what you posit?

Not seeing Stanford. Their defense is just not looking that good this year. Gave up 20 to Army which is their season high.
