Personally I wouldn't mind losing a few thousand so we can get rid of the bleachers and put real seats in.

Put capacity at an even 100k, that's about where our attendance is anyway and it would make it much more comfortable.

Want a comfy place to sit ? Want a place to put your feet up ? Stay at HOME ! Stadiums are for standing. Stop B!tc#ing about the seats or buy a seat cushion, or maybe one of those little donuts...

I know we had a few sellouts this year and was wondering if UT still sells standing room only seating? Or, when did this stop? I remember all the games where we had attendance over capacity.

Vandy averaging 34k is pathetic-expecially since we packed the place for them this year. Hell I think Memphis averaged 34,000. If Vandy is only drawing as many fans as Memphis, while playing an SEC schedule, they have some serious problems lol.

I don't believe SRO's are allowed anymore...or really needed for that matter.

As far as the over-capacity figures, they were completely made up and most schools do/did as well.

Until we can sell out every single home game, don't bother with the adding seats bs.

Completely agree. Bleachers are a thing of the past. I've upgraded my experience by upgrading my tickets. I love the Vols and the game experience but I hate standing in line and I especially hate having some gigantic fool all over me.
