anyone who has a background in architecture know if this is even possible with Neyland? I realize regardless it's not going to happen but I was just like the idea. Although a third level seat might need seat belts haha

I know we had a few sellouts this year and was wondering if UT still sells standing room only seating? Or, when did this stop? I remember all the games where we had attendance over capacity.

The SRO tickets they used to sell were where the club levels are now. I was a stander even as a kid. My grandfather said if I wanted to stand all game I had to go to the top of our section (Section B). I watched many a game through those Orange screens. But I could also jump around and celebrate.

I don't believe SRO's are allowed anymore...or really needed for that matter.

As far as the over-capacity figures, they were completely made up and most schools do/did as well.

Didn't the the over capacity numbers always account for EVERYONE in the stadium including players, coaches, police/security, media, vendors, etc, who didn't have seats to begin with?

I, too, would like to be cramped and unable to stand up during games, for purposes of bragging about it to some fan of some other team.

We need more seats, at least 7500 more. 15k more would be ideal.

Yes, and anyone within 3 blocks of the stadium. To announce 4-5K people above capacity would mean an awful lot of police, vendors, and volunteers considering there are about 100-110 people on each team including coaches and trainers.
