And they can't even fall back on basketball against us anymore lol.
That may not be quite as far-fetched as you'd think. LSU will probably be more beatable this year. They have Ole Miss beating LSU. Enough said!!!
Running the ball is great. We've been more relevant in basketball the last 15 years.
5-5, 4-6, maybe 6-4 is where the Vols should wind up.
I would think with the talent we have, the Vols should play Jeff Fisher ball and win 13-10 whenever they can. Let the air out of the ball and pound the rock. Don't put it in the qb's hands to win or lose the game. Win the line of scrimmage, the turnover margin and the kicking game.
I think blowing out a big east team in Louisville and besting Va Tech (who had a top 25 win and beat UNC) the bowl game is trumping out beating of UAB....??? That all I can figure..Don't get why everyone is so high on Kentucky. We beat them last year on the road. And they lost the guy who accounted for almost half of their offensive production (#1 rusher, #1 WR, and #2 QB).
Also funny how they picked us to have a bad record because we did poorly in the past decade against Bama, Georgia, and Florida, but somehow they still pick Kentucky over us even though we've been beaten them 7 out of the last 8 times during one of the worst eras in program history.
Not saying Kentucky will be a cakewalk, but just not getting why they are such a trendy pick this year.
I think we'll beat UK, but this part is kind of hard to argue with:Writer is an Indiana University grad (butt hurt from bowl) and lives in Florida. Opinion ain't worth jack $hit
Guess they are trendy because the guy they are getting back at QB is supposed to better then the guy that replaced him last year. My thoughts there though are they are getting a QB back off a major injury that hasn't played a down of SEC football in almost 2 years...Don't get why everyone is so high on Kentucky. We beat them last year on the road. And they lost the guy who accounted for almost half of their offensive production (#1 rusher, #1 WR, and #2 QB).
