I want my avatar to be a three second clip of Morgan Newton's drop back fail. Had to be the funniest thing I've ever seen in a football game

wtf..... if the fact that their site looks like its from 1999 didnt cause me to label scout as trash, the prediction has definitely sealed the deal..

I personally can’t compare last year team with this year team. Bray gets the start from the get goes unlike last year. So how can you compare this year offense like that? There is no way this is with-in 3 touchdowns, just my opinion. My score is 52-6.:td::fireworks:

Give the guy some credit he is going out on a limb and predicting that No. 2 Appalachian State will lose to No. 13 Virginia Tech.

Here's my gut feeling about Saturday...

I expect BOTH Big plays (because of our talent) and Big mistakes (because of our inexperience and youth at some critical positions).

So I believe it will be close for a couple of quarters, but Tennessee will finally pull away.

Tennessee 31
Montana 10

27-21?

That might be the Cincy score, if we're not careful.

But Montana won't keep it that close.

Am I the only one that read the scouting report and was expecting him to call a 3 TD win for the Vols based on what he said? Then he gets to the end and says it will be a 6 point game. Even after reading it I can't tell why he thinks it will be close.

Why is everyone so sure that Montana's new coach will get them back to a championship program? In his first year, he dropped them to 7-5?

I for one hope that, but not sure. He has proved he is a great recruiter, but unless he brings all that talent together on the field, then we are destined for another similar season this year. In fact we have D-2 Western Oregon late and the year, and a win doesnt count towards playoff elgibility. And couple that with this FBS game, and we are already in danger of not making the playoffs again with a similar season.

He brought an entirely new offensive system to the school. I've always been a propenent if it aint broke dont fix it....so we shall see. If we dont make playoffs this year, then there will be a mighty roar for his head by the end of year, even though he'll probably get at least a 3rd season. We are somewhat limited because we cant pay our coaches what others school do (something to do with limits on salaraies of state employees if I recall), so it makes it even more amazing that through the years we've attracted great coaches in both football and basketball (where names such as Jud Heathcote, Mike Montgomery, Blaine Taylor, Larry Kryskowiak and Stew Morrill all got their starts before moving on).
