Scott, Hendrix and Helm gone (officially per Butch)

When you premise something on a completely false statement... nothing you build after that is worth a dime. I am not on "every thread" doing anything. I'm not even negative on every thread that I participate in... just about the things that aren't good... go figure.

Honestly, you really need to get over yourself. I support Jones NOW. I WANT HIM TO SUCCEED EVERY BIT AS MUCH AS YOU DO. I just no longer see it as helpful to pretend that bad things do not happen or exist.

Yes. And I argue just as hard then too, right? Here you've just chose to spend time attacking me rather than disagreeing with me. If you think I'm wrong then convince me. Regardless of what you think you know, I have changed my position here and in real life when someone showed me good evidence why I should.

I DO see good things that Jones is doing. I just DO NOT see W's yet nor do I see enough good things without the W's. I am NOT predicting failure. I am not against him nor do I want him fired. I am just unconvinced.

You haven't tried to prove me wrong in awhile. You've just taken shots at me... yeah, you've tried to play police.:hi:

I can't possibly go with your definitions of. "police" and "attack"...I think you have Norwegian blood and tap into vestigial Viking berserker rage when you fall in love with your drummed up personal standards...I think we lost part of the reasonable portion in you after your valiant battle against American Pig...you seem a little paranoid and conspiratorial with your. " prove me wrong" mantra (can't prove delusions wrong to the deluded). And your use of the word. "brave" in reference to yourself is as American as porcine gets. This isn't an attack ...it's a public service message. You're full of yourself, and your seams are coming undone. :focus:

Those Norwegians are funny people, they don't mean to be, but they start talking and people just laugh in their face, lol!

Not a shred of Norwegian in me. American mutt but probably a mix of Scotch-Irish and English. Both sides of my family can be traced back to the Revolution. My moms family was in the mtns of NC well before the Cherokee were removed.

Per Hubbs in reference to Hendrix

I do believe he is going to return this spring and finish his year or "residency" to help him transfer somewhere and be on scholarship and not have to pay for school somewhere this spring or go to a junior college. Right now, I don't see him having a change of the mind and returning to the team.

He's gone from the team but it appears that right now he is going to remain at Tennessee as a student for the spring semester.

wow, some info that actually relates to the original topic.

I wish some people would take their pizzing match somewhere else.

Six days since the last urination...what you so pissed about? :matrix:

I have heard Hendrix is enrolled in classes at UT. I would believe that means he is staying. I could have started a new thread, but instead I looked through 7 pages to find this gem.

I believe that when a transfer completes the school year at the current school, it makes the transfer of credits much simpler and straight forward. Otherwise, those credits could be lost at the new school. He would then be required to retake the lost credits. I'm not sure quitters like Hendrix get their classes for spring under scholarship or not.

I hope Hendrix stays. I expected his role in the defense would go up dramatically as a sophomore. They played Barnett way too many snaps this past year. I personally think him getting regular breathers will make him a more effective DE, when he is in.

Sure, Barnett is in good shape, but still...a fresh athlete will always play harder than one who is a bit winded.

He's putting up record numbers for a freshmen.. What a dumb statement to make. Thats like telling Chris Loften to stop shooting the ball because they don't want him to miss.

obvious that these boys/men could not hack it in the classroom or the quiet lifestyle needed to succeed at Tennessee better they leave now

Would Hendrix be welcomed back to the team if he had a change of heart? I know that is unlikely to happen but....

Sounds like some of our guys are trying to influence him to stay. As far as weak, I doubt it, possibly just a guy who is used to being in the spotlight and didn't realize in college football that spot is only for the elite few. There is also something about completing the a full year and transferring will be an easier transition.

Not sure why he wouldnt be. Unless he has handled this poorly in some way.

While it may not be probable that he stays being enrolled for the spring semester, I still think its possible that he may return.
