In 2010, having a coach who wasn't even fully committed to being their coach probably played a role. Last year, they were in the midst of a coaching change. Normally it's the second year under a coaching staff where you tend to see the most improvement, and UF should fall squarely into that trend this year. It's not like they haven't been recruiting with the best of them. Aside from the 2011 class where recruiting between the two was essentially a push, UF has consistetly crushed us on the recruiting trail for the past 5 years. For people to claim that UF is less TALENTED this coming season is beyond absurd. Maybe we're more experienced at some positions, but aside from WR and QB, I'm not sure where we're more talented.
On one hand you say that we have been crushed in recruiting yet you say because we didn't win last year CDD sucks. On one hand you say the 2nd year a new coach wins (don't know where that one comes from) however you fail to take into account that is with a decent team to start with and CDD had nothing. You admit up until last year our recruiting sucked for 5 years. I am beginning to think you just like to complain. You try to argue a point from both sides.....it just doesn't work!!

We've had multiple "How Many Games Will TN Win?" threads, but I haven't seen any that predicts scores in those games. I'll say 10-2 and here are the scores:
NCSt: 35-21 UT
DaRick U: 55-14 UT
UF: 31-24 UT
Akron: 70:7 UT
Georgia: 42-35 UT
MSU: 24-21 UT
Bama: 17-14 Bama
USCe: 21-17 USCe
Troy: 41-17 UT
Mizzu: 38-31 UT
Vandy: 28-14 UT
UK: 56-10 UT

Interesting point. But, didn't they have as much or more talent/experience the last two years? So, what caused their problems? Or to reverse the question, what has changed that should signify improvement?
Problems? Didn't notice that UT was one of them. Shouldn't the question be, "What has happened at UT to reverse an ingrained trend?"
Sure, a legitimate question. However, we were speaking of the Gators, specifically. There have been a number of other posts and threads on here addressing your question of the Vols.
On any given Sunday, even the lesser team can prevail. Coaching and game prep are always the key, but in a couple of games, there may be some clear focus points
NcSt: see t his like the Cinc. game last year. Be wary, but we have more weapons on both sides of the ball
Florida - referendum on our offense. If it clicks and holds the ball, we win - TD plus.
Georgia - referendum on Georgia and its character. If the Ga's A team arrives, will be a solid game and more of a toss-up, maybe slightly favors the puppies.
MSU - not sure of what to say. Hard for my to believe that they are that solid across both sides of the ball.
Bama - referendum on our total team: Requires top level coaching and play on both sides to keep within a single play/score.
S Car - referendum on coaching. Requires top performance by coaches.
Mo - not sure, but think that our coaches will be key.

I don't see a score can be predicted, however; a win or loss can usually be predicted with some certainty.
NCS Loss
UF Loss
Akron win
UGA Win
MSU win
O Bama Loss
USCe win (we should have won the last two
USCe games)
Troy Win
Missouri Loss
Vandy win
UK Win
Georgia State win
The past few UGA and USCe games, should have been ours but our luck wasn't there. 2010 USCe Simms threw interceptions and by the time Bray entered the line up, we didn't have enough time to win it.
2011 Worley played that game and the offense was conserative for him.
We should have won the UGA 2010 & 2011. This season, our luck changes and we win both of them.
