this is why orgo has the reputation that it does. Organic II kills a lot of peoples dreams of going to a professional school. It's hard for everyone, but once you get past orgo II a lot of the classes are hard. There are some genetics, and micro classes that can be just as hard depending on the prof. That said my biochem class was much harder than organic. My prof teaches the Med students at UMiami Med school, and I thought it would be a good idea to take her 6 week course thinking she might leave some stuff out....she didn't. :no:I took a couple of physics classes and didn't think they were all that tough. Organic chem at UT has nearly a 50% failure rate and probably around half the students are taking it for the second time. It's the class that prevents most kids from going to med school. I'm not sure how it used to be, but that class has definitely earned its reputation in recent years.
