One thing I just thought of is how dirty UGA has proven to be. Anyone think they wouldn't try to hurt Cade if he plays this year? Track record proves they are willing to take dirty shots on players.....

We need to be playing this game in the media. The doing stuff behind closed doors hasn't worked for us. UGA played their schedule gripes in the media and they got Arky and MSU. USCe got about 6 obvious calls in the first half when they griped about officiating last year. We play nice re: Anthony Jordan and he's officiated multiple prime-time nationally televised games this year....

What was UGA’s schedule gripe? I remember Florida pitching a fit when they thought they’d draw Bama and A&M, but i think UGA would’ve draw Arky and maybe Ole Miss.

It's an SEC rule, not a Kirby Smart rule.

As @GroverCleveland pointed out: "The conference has been consistent. Undergrads have to sit out. There may be an exception, but the overwhelming, if not all, undergrad transfers have had to sit within the conference."

I don't know why we're so surprised here. I guess easier to blame someone than to accept that this was the standard from the beginning and that a waiver was never really an option.

The more I’ve thought about the Cade Mays waiver situation, I’ve come to believe Sanky and the SEC owe us an approval.

They clearly protected UGA and Bama with the cross divisional opponents, and we certainly got the short end of that stick with two Top 10 selections while we also play Bama.

The least they can do is give us one player.

They protected Bama, not UGA. We are scheduled to play the next two West opponents, like everyone was supposed to.

What part of this don't you understand? UGA has nothing to do with this. It is an SEC Rule that players cannot transfer within the conference without sitting out. Sankey said the presidents would have to change the rule in order for Mays to be eligible.
