‘Minnesota Nice’ Enabled Immigration Fraud To Flourish In Twin Cities For Decades, ex-sheriff says: ‘It’s all about votes’

A former Minneapolis sheriff says an excessive helping of “Minnesota nice” enabled the egregious spread of immigration fraud uncovered by federal officials in the Twin Cities last month.

“Minnesota has always been a very welcoming place,” said Rich Stanek, who spent 12 years overseeing Minneapolis law enforcement as Hennepin County Sheriff.

A suspected illegal immigrant being led away by federal officials during September’s Operation Twin Shields.

It’s those midwestern manners that Stanek believes led directly to the immigration crisis US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) discovered across Minneapolis and St. Paul in September: of 1,000 immigrant households visited during a two-week period, nearly half were engaged in some form of immigration fraud.

“Officers encountered blatant marriage fraud, visa overstay, people claiming to work at businesses that can’t be found, forged documents, abuse of the H1B visa system, abuse of the F1 visa, and many other discrepancies,” USCIS director Joseph B. Edlow told reporters after the operation concluded.

Federal officials did not disclose how many people were detained during Operation Twin Shield in September.

Rumors of questionable immigration practices have even dogged Omar — a Somali born naturalized US citizen — including accusations she married her own brother to help him gain citizenship. She has vehemently denied those claims.

Undignified ICE Arrest Of TV Producer In Chicago... Before Attempt To Save Her Goes Horribly Wrong

A local television producer was dramatically detained by federal agents in the middle of a Chicago street before her supporters' attempt to hinder her arrest backfired.

Deborah Brockman, a veteran producer at WGN-TV, was forced to the ground as mask-wearing Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers cuffed her in the Chicago suburb of Lincoln Square on Friday.

The officers behind Brockman's arrest stopped at nothing to take her into custody - damaging a resistant driver's SUV after they refused to move out of the way.

The CBP agents were driving in the area while conducting immigration enforcement operations when Brockman allegedly threw something at their vehicle, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Jaw-dropping video from neighborhood resident Josh Thomas showed Brockman face down on the street with her blue jeans fallen - leaving her backside exposed.

Witnesses heckled the officers carrying out the arrest, calling them 'fascists' and a variety of profane names.

Thomas approached Brockman, who appeared desperate and afraid, and asked for her name.

With her glasses crooked and slipping from her face, she frantically replied: 'Debbie Brockman, I work for WGN. Let them know!'

Witnesses broke out in uproar once again after she was dragged into a Border Patrol vehicle.

The silver CBP vehicle began to drive off, but abruptly stopped after a few feet because a black SUV was partially blocking its path.

An agent stepped out of the passenger's side and started yelling to the driver to move - an order the driver refused.

The fed-up officer went back to the car and slammed the door shut. The vehicle then swiftly drove off through the too-narrow space between the SUV and the curb.

A loud screeching noise was heard as the federal vehicle hit the SUV, tearing off its back bumper.

'This is not isolated and reflects a growing and dangerous trend of illegal aliens violently resisting arrest and agitators and criminals ramming cars into our law enforcement officers,' DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin said while acknowledging that Brockman is a US citizen.

MPD: Young Driver Without License flees crash, Released Without Charges

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a 16-year-old driver who fell asleep at the wheel and her 19-year-old passenger were found along Interstate I-240 near Millbranch after leaving the scene of a one-vehicle crash early Monday morning.

MPD said officers were assisted by Tennessee troopers, with the Memphis Safe Task Force, and found a Toyota Corolla in the median with no occupants inside.

While troopers were on the scene, an officer from the MPD traveling eastbound on I-240 near the Millbranch Road interchange reported seeing two individuals jump out of a vehicle. Officers found the driver and passenger lying on the ground against a fence south of the interstate.

According to police, the teens initially told officers they were dropped off along the interstate, but changed their story after being informed that officers had found pictures of them in a suitcase inside the Corolla.

The 16-year-old reportedly told officers she was driving from Tucker, Georgia, to an unspecified location in Arkansas when she fell asleep and woke up with the vehicle on its side. The passenger was in the front passenger seat at the time.

Officers attempted to identify the driver and passenger, who claimed to be from Honduras.

A federal police officer from Homeland Security, who also responded to the crash, was able to translate. The driver said she entered the country and was living with her father, who is the owner of the vehicle.

MPD said the officer from Homeland Security used the official police databases to identify the driver. However, she was known only by her name because she entered the country through customs.

Police said the young driver and passenger had no identification, driver’s license, passports, or any means of identification. An officer said a supervisor ordered him to release the driver without charge, as all options had been exhausted on the scene.

Why didn't they turn them over to ICE?

ICE Arrests 1,406 Illegal Aliens in Sanctuary Boston Surge Including Murderers, Rapists, Gang Members

1760815866483.png
Federal immigration officers and law enforcement partners arrested more than 1,400 illegal alien offenders during a weeks-long enforcement blitz targeting violent criminals, gang members, and foreign fugitives hiding out across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Dubbed Operation Patriot 2.0, the surge ran from September 4 to September 30. The targeted enforcement action resulted in the apprehension of 1,406 illegal aliens, including murderers, rapists, child sex predators, drug traffickers, and documented members of transnational gangs such as MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios, and 18th Street.

Among those arrested:

• 277 had defied federal removal orders
• 3 were known or suspected terrorists
• Multiple targets carried Interpol Red Notices or foreign arrest warrants
ICE officials say many arrests were made after local jurisdictions refused to honor immigration detainers, forcing agents to conduct dangerous at-large operations in residential communities.

All individuals detained during Operation Patriot 2.0 remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

Chicago Mob Attacks ICE Agents with Rocks, Vehicles, Heavy Fireworks

A large group of pro-migrant rioters attacked a contingent of ICE officers on Thursday by boxing them in with a truck, firing heavy duty fireworks at them, and throwing rocks, according to reports.

But the Department of Homeland Security warned that the increasingly violent tactics by protesters in Chicago won’t deter them from upholding the law.

Video shows the mob milling around the ICE agents and their vehicles and screaming threats at them. When officers attempted to move their vehicles, their path was blocked by a large truck, and then the rioters began upping the violence.

Seattle Jail Hires Illegal Migrants to Guard Citizens, Will Fight State Ban to Keep Them

The King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD) has not only admitted to breaking state laws by hiring nearly three dozen illegal migrants as corrections officers, but has also pledged to fight the state law preventing such hiring.

The jail’s allegedly illegal hiring practices came to light after a whistleblower filed a complaint claiming that the department had hired as many as 100 illegal aliens, which would violate the Revised Code of Washington 43.101.095, which states that only legal U.S. citizens may be hired as corrections officers, according to KTTH AM radio’s Jason Rantz Show.

Question, what happens in 3 years or 7 years when a Dem gets back in and erases this progress that the Trump Admin is making? Is there actually a way to end Illegal Immigration that can't be reverted the moment an opposing party controls the WH?

work with congress to reform the laws.

some compromise where its easier to legally become a resident and become a citizen, but actually enforce the laws to really punish those who jump the line so that doing it illegally is seen as even less desirable of an option.

neither side wants to see that though. they both prefer this political ping pong ball.

Sanctuary State Illinois: Illegal Alien Accused of Killing GOP Elected Official and His Wife in Fatal Crash

1761877508841.png

In the sanctuary state of Illinois, where Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) has attempted to impede federal immigration enforcement, an illegal alien is accused of killing a Republican elected official and his wife in Coles County.

Police say that 34-year-old illegal alien Edwin Pacheco-Meza of Honduras was driving a van on Oct. 24 when he crossed the center lane and struck 71-year-old Michael Clayton and his wife, 66-year-old Gail Clayton — killing them instantly.

Michael Clayton was a Republican elected official who served on the Coles County Board.

Pacheco-Meza, who crossed the southern border as an unknown got-away, was in his vehicle with 18-year-old illegal alien Juan Morales-Martinez of Guatemala, who crossed the border in December 2023 and was released into the United States interior by the Biden administration.

The illegal aliens were found with an extended magazine, firearm ammunition, drugs, and an open container of alcohol in their vehicle, police say.

Pacheco-Meza was charged with reckless homicide and drunk driving, while Morales-Martinez was charged with drug possession and weapons violations.

After they were arrested, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged detainers against the illegal aliens, seeking custody of them, but the detainers were ignored by the Clark County Jail thanks to Pritzker’s sanctuary state policy.

GOP Colorado lawmaker who flagged Venezuelan Gang Takeover of apartment buildings in her city is booted for Progressive in election

A Republican Colorado politician who earned national attention for sounding the alarm that her city faced a 'complete gang takeover' was voted out of office in favor of left-wing candidates.

The upset of Aurora Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky comes just one year after she took her concerns to the media in an effort to expose Venezuelan gangs in her city.

Jurinsky frequently reposted terrifying footage of Tren de Aragua members holding guns and threatening residents outside of an woman's apartment in the Whispering Pines complex in Aurora.

Colorado is a sanctuary state that has a large population of Venezuelan migrants.

Many people dismissed the claim as false. Earlier this year a New York Times investigation found that Tren de Aragua members were terrorizing several desolate apartment complexes throughout Aurora.

But exposing the truth didn't help Jurinsky in this year's election cycle.

The councilwoman – elected in 2021 – came in third for the two open city council seats, despite raising far more money than her competitors, 9News reported.

Chicago Judge Orders Release of Hundreds of Criminal Illegal Aliens Arrested by ICE

1763064835262.png
A Biden-appointed federal judge in Chicago has ordered the release of hundreds of criminal migrants arrested by federal immigration agents during Operation Midway Blitz.

US District Judge Jeffrey Cummings ordered the Trump administration to release more than 600 migrants that the judge claims were arrested in violation of a Consent Decree. Cummings has given the Department of Justice until November 19 to release the targeted migrants, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Cummings signaled his decision earlier in the week when he said he was thinking of providing what he called “equitable relief” for thousands of illegals in federal custody after he determined that the agreement had been violated by immigration agents.

The decree was signed in 2022 when President Joe Biden’s agencies agreed to accept curbs drafted by the ACLU. Judges allow consent decrees to bind future administrations.

Honduran National Indicted for Touching Multiple Young Girls inside Long Island TJ Maxx: DA

A Honduran national grabbed three young girls’ butts in separate incidents at a Long Island TJ Maxx and was caught pleasuring himself while staring at one of the victims, police said.

Pervy Jimmy Harry Velasquez Gomez, 44, was indicted on multiple child sex-abuse charges Friday after investigators allegedly caught him on the store’s surveillance camera groping young girls between the ages of seven and 11 — in three separate encounters over a span of months.

Bloodied Migrant Sobs as He Is Arrested by ICE as new southern city is flooded with Border Patrol

A bloodied migrant was seen crying during his arrest by ICE as Border Patrol continues its crackdown in North Carolina.

The unnamed man was seen being dragged out of a restaurant that appeared to be under construction by federal agents on Wednesday in Charlotte, a major city in the swing state.

The migrant, dressed in gray jeans, a gray zip-up hoodie and sneakers, could be seen with blood dripping from his face as he looked visibly distressed.

It is unclear where he is from, but the man's arrest comes as federal agents continue on with Operation Charlotte's Web, which specifically targets 'criminal illegal aliens who flocked to the Tar Heel State,' the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said.

The agency said illegal migrants have made their way into the U.S. state 'because they knew sanctuary politicians would protect them and allow them to roam free on American streets.'

ICE Arrests Illegal Immigrant Selling Counterfeit Goods On Canal Street

An illegal immigrant allegedly selling counterfeit merchandise on Canal Street in Chinatown was arrested by ICE Saturday — and the agency later blasted the NYPD for repeatedly releasing the man from custody amid its revolving door criminal justice system.

Abdou Tall, who is from Senegal, was arrested at Broadway and Canal Street in lower Manhattan around noon during a “targeted operation,” an ICE spokesperson said in a statement.

Tall has been arrested multiple times for allegedly trafficking counterfeit merchandise, the spokesperson said.

1763872034471.png
“Tall fled from law enforcement on foot for several blocks before he tripped and fell and then continued to actively resist arrest,” the spokesperson said. “Our officers followed their training and successfully arrested him.”

Canal Street is known to be an open market for counterfeit purses and other fake designer items.

But one day after a White House meeting between Zohran Mamdani and President Donald Trump — during which the two appeared to be bosom buddies — the agency slammed the NYPD for not honoring an ICE detainer when Tall was busted on Oct. 7 for felony trademark counterfeiting.

“But instead of turning him over to ICE custody, they released this criminal illegal alien back into the community where he immediately resumed his criminal activity leading to a second NYPD arrest for felony trademark counterfeiting on Oct. 11,” the ICE spokesperson said. “This time he was released by NYPD before ICE could even lodge a detainer.”

Rioters throw trash, garbage cans at ICE vehicles in New York City; multiple arrests made

Incident occurred near federal building in Lower Manhattan during ongoing ICE operations in Chinatown

Police confirmed multiple arrests Saturday after anti-ICE agitators were caught on video throwing trash cans and debris at officers near a government building in New York City.

The incident happened during an ongoing crackdown on illegal immigrants in Chinatown, which has spurred protests in the area for more than a month.

Officers responded to Centre and Howard streets, near the U.S. General Service Administration building in Lower Manhattan, just before noon on a report of disorderly protesters, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) told Fox News Digital.

School District Allows Migrant Kids To Stay Home If Their Parents Fear ICE

Chicago Public Schools are now allowing illegal immigrant students to miss class if they or their parents fear being targeted by immigration enforcement.

An internal document obtained by education watchdog Defending Education states that students without legal status can be marked as 'excused' if a parent tells the school they are afraid of federal immigration authorities.

'If a parent/guardian reports an absence and attributes it to fear of federal representative-related procedures, schools CAN excuse the absence under “concern for student health and safety,"' the policy states. 'Additional information should not be provided in the memo box to respect student/family confidentiality.'

There is no time limit on this excuse, meaning a parent could indefinitely keep their child out of school for this reason.

The Chicago public school system received nearly $1.7 billion in federal dollars in fiscal year 2024, according to its budget document.

ICE Warns Illinois Is Releasing Violent Criminal Illegal Aliens despite detainers, risking public safety

State has Released 1,768 Criminal Aliens with active detainers since January 2025

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is warning that Illinois officials are releasing violent criminal illegal aliens despite active immigration detainers, a move the agency says is putting the public at risk.

In the letter shared with Fox News Digital, Todd Lyons, ICE's senior official performing the duties of director, said Illinois has "tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens" in custody – individuals who, he noted, have committed crimes ranging from murder and rape to child pornography and armed robbery.

MS-13 Leader With Ties To Honduran Assassin Squad Obtained California Driver’s License Using Real Name: Feds

An alleged MS-13 leader accused of working with an assassination squad that executed four people in Honduras, including the son of the country’s former president, was able to obtain a California driver’s license using his real identity, federal officials revealed Tuesday.

Gerson Emir Cuadra Soto, aka “Fantasma,” crossed into the US illegally from Mexico in 2022 after allegedly bribing his way out of a Honduran jail — but his extended taste of freedom was finally dashed on Monday when federal agents nabbed him in Nebraska, according to the Department of Justice.

Before the 33-year-old Honduran national was arrested he somehow managed to get a driver’s license in the Golden State, providing a thumbprint which was eventually used to confirm the international fugitive’s identity, prosecutors said in a criminal complaint against Cuadra Soto.
