Boston Judge Who Blocked Migrant's ICE Arrest And Let Him Slip Out The Back Door Is Hit With New Charges​

A Massachusetts judge has been slapped with fresh charges after she was accused helping a twice-deported illegal immigrant evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2018.

Judge Shelley Joseph, now assigned to Boston Municipal Court, is under fire again six years after she allegedly allowed Jose Medina-Perez to walk out a back door of the Newton District Courthouse to avoid getting arrested by the ICE agents on duty.

In a scathing 112-page report, the state's Commission on Judicial Conduct accused Joseph of 'willful judicial misconduct' and bringing 'disrepute' to the court system.


While these aren't criminal charges, the commission did ask the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to appoint a hearing officer - likely a retired judge - to 'preside over a public hearing'.

At this hearing, which will take place 30 to 60 days from now, Joseph could lose her $207,855 a year job as a judge.

The resolution would go further than the state’s sanctuary law, which generally limits law enforcement's cooperation with ICE, and represents a hardline stance against all cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

The new resolution, which will see a vote on December 10 as part of the county’s "commitment to social justice and inclusion," will say that the county will not provide assistance or cooperation to ICE "including by giving ICE agents access to individuals or allowing them to use County facilities for investigative interviews or other purposes, expending County time or resources responding to ICE inquiries or communicating with ICE regarding individuals’ incarceration status or release dates, or otherwise participating in any civil immigration enforcement activities."

For EVERY state that has a major "sanctuary city' . Cut federal funding to that state 100%. Zero federal dollars for any reason...until they start enforcing federal law regarding ICE and illegal aliens. Three Venezuelan migrants — including a baby-faced Tren de Aragua leader — brazenly peddled illegal pistols, shotguns, rifles and ghost guns across New York City, prosecutors alleged.

The accused ringleader Stefano Pachon, 21, and his two confederates shuffled into a Manhattan courtroom Wednesday to face gun trafficking conspiracy charges outlined in a 31-count indictment.

Pachon, who racked up a long rap sheet since he arrived in the Big Apple from Venezuela in late 2023, sold nine different loaded guns during the months-long caper, prosecutors said.

“The defendant has access to a seemingly endless supply of loaded guns,” said Assistant District Attorney Yuval Simchi-Levi. “This defendant sold the guns while out on a bench warrant.”

Federal immigration agents have started rounding up illegal immigrants in the Denver area, following through on a campaign promise by the Trump Administration to deport migrants who have broken the law, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Arrests began on Monday, when President Donald Trump took the oath of office, and have spread throughout the state.

Several dozen migrants have been arrested in the Rocky Mountain state by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, for having pending criminals cases.
