no. I typically do not read the New York Post.

I do like the quoted click bait fear mongering. "this is the second such attack in less than two years in the nations biggest city," in probably the most congested/trafficked part of that city. when you sit down and think about the implications, its meaningless. I bet the cops deal with more attacks on a daily basis than two from migrants.

Wild new video shows the moment a crew of pint-sized perps ganged up on two NYPD cops in the heart of Times Square – as cops announced the arrest of the fifth migrant teen in the mayhem.

The officers were trying to step in when they spotted the baby-faced brutes trying to rob a pair of youngsters Friday evening at the packed intersection of West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue, law enforcement sources said.

As officers stepped in, they became the young mob’s new targets – crowding around them and trying to throw items at them, according to the clip obtained by The Post Tuesday.

Those arrested so far in the melee include a 12-year-old reputed ringleader — with police saying the mob is linked to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua through its school-aged offshoot crew known as Diablos de la 42, or Devils of 42nd Street, the sources said.

The cocky brats even flashed gang signs and posted pics on social media while handcuffed inside a Manhattan police precinct after being busted in the attack on cops, according to photos also obtained by The Post.

they used two attacks in New York City over a two year period as justification to be afraid of them.

to put it in perspective, back in the 70s there were 600 human bite attacks in New York City a year. I doubt that number has gotten any better.

who knows how many people have died by being hit by a car in NYC, but I am willing to bet its more than 2 people over 2 years.

they made a completely garbage argument. probably threw in some bs statistic like "there has been a 200% increase in tDa related attacks over the last 5 years", because it went from 0 to 2. its fear mongering bs.

if they want to make the argument that tDa is dangerous they can surely do better than 2 attacks in 2 years. they had to really drill down to get to that particular statistic when there are far better ones to use.

I responded to what was quoted, as it was likely chosen for click bait fear mongering. and I was pointing out how ridiculous it was to use that particular statistic.

It would be a much better argument to say they have been linked with over 200 robberies (or whatever the number is) in new york in the last year alone. that would at least be a consequential number. crazy people probably attack cops in New York more than twice in a day, no one is going to argue they are more dangerous than tDa, but according to the dumb statistic the article chose, they are.

Battle lines are being drawn over immigration enforcement in Nashville. It’s shaping up as a fight once again pitting liberals who control the island of blue that is Davidson County versus the sea of red that is Tennessee.

In one corner, Nashville’s liberal Mayor, Freddie O’Connell and members of the democrat-majority City Council expressing outrage that federal immigration laws were being enforced in their city. In the other corner, the Trump Department of Homeland Security, Republican Governor Bill Lee and key players in the republican supermajority General Assembly who were clearly peeved at the tone and tenor of the Mayor’s hastily called Monday press conference.

On Monday, Mayor Freddy O’Connell – without actually using the term – seemed to stake out sanctuary city policies and positions held by other left-leaning Mayors around the country. He also condemned immigration enforcement actions carried out by the state and DHS. “What’s clear,” the Mayor stated, ‘is that people who do not share our values of safety and community have the authority to cause deep community harm.”

Council members echoed his sentiments. “Our message is this: Nashville must be a place of safety, not surveillance, a city that is welcoming and not fearing,” said Council member Terry Vo (D-Dist. 17).

I am not denying the problem, I calling out bs fear mongering of these two attacks. I have said repeatedly there are better stats to use, instead of just fear mongering.

Yeah you are right. They are isolated incidents. Nothing at all to be concerned about. Actually they will occur mostly in cities, so I really don't care. Let 'em all in. After all, they are just looking for a better life, no matter how that affects yours.
