John Adams brought up a good point in his column today talking about Alabama's bowl victory. "'The dominant performance served as a reminder that Alabama was the most talented team in the country. But where was that talent against LSU, South Carolina or - most significantly - in the second half against Auburn?" So many of us on here believe he's the best coach in college football. Does the best coach lose 3 games with arguably the best talent in college football? If ranking the SEC coaches' performances this year, would you put the likes of Coach Dooley or Joker Phillips ahead of him? Would coaching a .500 team with Kentucky or Tennessee's talent eclipse the coaching performance of a 3 loss season with Alabama's talent. Their year was horrendous in regards to underachieving.
