I keep reading about how Virginia Tech is interested in Josh Heupel , I hope Danny White is in his ear. He is by far the best coach, recruiter, and person UT has had in a long, long time. I hope Vol Nation lets him feel the love and that he sticks around for a good while. I really look forward to having him recruit when they can finally recruit a full roster (thanks JP!)

Of course now SEC is a much stronger conference top to bottom so it is very hard to win SEC conference much less national championship.

I strongly agree, but $$ talks and less criticism by fans
Money does talk. We have waaaaay more of it than Tech and will for the foreseeable future with the ACCs tv deal. They are a absolute wreck in a conference shambling toward destruction. VT is not a remotely attractive job and they can't outspend Tennessee

Neither of these is true for most.

1- Heupel couldn’t care less what a bunch of couch coaches on the www are saying about him, me included.
2- at this level, quality of life and coaching latitude mean more for most. This includes AD, length of leash for decision making, etc. You can’t do anything with 12 mil a year that you couldn’t already do with 8-10.

Heupel has already made it. He’s not some small time school coach. The only way he leaves is for his “dream school”, if there is one or a better program that gives him a longer leash in football decision making.

VT isn't getting Heupel. No one in their right mind would leave Tennessee for Tech.
I have to agree here. Heupel and all these SEC coaches have more money than they can spend. I genuinely believe Heupel knows Neyland Stadium and UT is one of the top environments in college football. You could see when he beat Oklahoma last year how special it was for him, so he's not going back there either.

Saw a Clay Travis clip where he says the perfect coach for LSU is Nick Saben. Pay him 100 million for 4 years. Why would he do that? Makes no sense for him to undertake those kind of stresses. And, the reason he gave for leaving Alabama was the way NIL has changed how coaching morphed into the NFL. Why would he jump back in? Answer is, he won't, and Heupel won't head to VT.

VAT will not come close to paying what it would take to get Josh..

These things start with dumb clickbait Facebook pages like the one that had him going to the Panthers a couple years ago when we weren’t halfway through the season.

It ain’t happening but if the money was right, Heupel would have to see how he’d gash that trash conference. He’d live in the playoff.

You really need to learn to tell the difference between a real article vs click bait slop.
