It's hard to believe any rumors going around. I've read so many over the years, it's unbelievable. I've been reading on social media that a rumor is going around Louisville that Petrino is headed here after the season. The truth is nobody knows a thing. I'll subtly relay a rumor and wait to see what actually happens.

I actually agree. Everyone harps on the defense but honestly they are on the field the majority of the time. They even had Georgia Tech's number when they were fresh.

I do find it very odd that Gruden was in Knoxville, even if he is calling the game Sunday in Nashville. You'd think he be breaking down Mariota or something stupid like that, but instead he was in knoxville? You'd have to pay me to believe that Currie didn't atleast contact him.

I just heard from my friend that works in athletics that the AD is having meetings today... No name just said he came in for some meetings.

I read that exact rumor on this website yesterday.....
This means they have not determined if bUTch will be fired and of course have not even put feelers out to see what other coach would be interested in U.T.

We are far behind in this search... I bet Florida has secretly been making contact with other coaches. We see the obvious but delay any kind of action...

If Gruden is/was such a grand hire and he supposedly was "right there" or whatever 5 years ago, then why has UT Athletic Department waited until the wheels have fallen off and football wagon have burned? If he was such a slam dunk back then as some of you claim, why was CBJ not fired 2, 3 years ago and Gruden hired? Fantasy!

Three years ago he was still improving the roster. Two years ago we hoped he was still improving the roster. One year ago, Dave Hart would've been involved in the hire. Timing. Read Ecclesiastes. For everything there is a season.
