RUMOR: Da'rick indefintely suspended?

What are the chances he transfers?

Not likely. If he transfers he would have to sit out a year, and at that point he could declare for nfl draft... He will either play for UT next year or sit out and "prepare for the combine/draft" is my opinipn

Dooley quoted that DaRick Rogers has not been suspended and is still a part of the football team..

Everyone needs to chill out.

We are eating our own here. How many idiot clowns have been tweeting Rogers? These are 18-19 year old kids.

Doug Mathews just said if there has been an ongoing problem with Rogers that is any different than a typical diva WR that is on many teams it is funny that he heard nothing of it until yesterday

LOL, how convenient. "We are suspending you, but you won't miss any games, practices, mandatory bowl meetings, etc."

Give me a break. This is pathetic........you guys know it.

Really? A Florida Gator fan speaking on such subjects...Really? Quaint!:eek:lol:

These guys are also half way through with their college careers, maybe more if they end up going early for the league. Two full seasons. Not trying to be a jerk, just that the kids being kids thing...the clock is running out on that.

I agree with what you're saying, but the reality is that some people find it their moral obligation to twitter these kids, etc... Every fan base has them. At this point in society, if the player has a public account, it's on him.. Is it fair? No. But he could easily set his privacy issues and avoid this altogether...like many others, he is the culprit as much as he is the victim

It would be nice if some so called adults had enough sense to leave a guy they wouldn't recognize without a jersey on the hell alone.

We should do like Urban, suspend him for the worst teams we play..... but let him play SEC games.

the blow up rogers had was actually with a ga. dr was going into the meeting and the ga stopped him and told him he wasnt allowed, or something to that effect. thats when things got ugly.

dr has been having issues with alot of the upper classmen for a few weeks. some his fault and some not. most of it started about the time dr was vocal about simms starting, simms is well respected in the locker room, but i see dr's point. dr has also been vocal about the lack of support alot of the younger guys are not getting from the upperclassmen.

in the office today when things first blew up rumors were flying everywhere. he blew up on dooley, that did not happen.

this will either make dr a much better player for the team next year or he'll be gone. no in betweens. personally i think he'll be back and help the incoming freshman.

So basically nothing has happened.

The kid will still be back on your football team "a changed man" in the spring.

Off-season suspensions are realy silly. They accomplish nothing imo. It sounds good on paper as Dooley being able to say "See, I'm in charge here." but it really doesn't change anything or teach DR a lesson.

DR needs to shut up, focus, and go to work to get to the NFL.

Off-season suspensions are probably just as useful as suspending top players for games against Florida Atlantic and UAB.......Of all trolls to speak about "useless suspensions" I cannot BELIEVE it would be a Florida fan.....the last 15 years half of you team is suspended for the first two games and return just in time for the big games...I believe CDD might not be the answer but him kicking Janzen Jackson off our team prior to the season was showing a helluva lot more back bone than most SEC coaches do.....

One thing we both agree on is the whole STFU and go to work thing!!!! Every single SEC team has kids with worlds of talent that cannot seem to just put the work in and get paid....Sorry for the rant and I'm not trying to be a dick...Just frustrated from the last 3-5 years of watching sorry ass piss poor football.....
