RUMOR: Da'rick indefintely suspended?

Fresh from CoachingSearch.com :

Tennessee: I have just learned that Derek Dooley will move Darin Hinshaw from quarterbacks to wide receivers. Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will now coach the quarterbacks in addition to serving as the offensive coordinator. Dooley plans to hire a new running backs coach.

This is good. Give him one chance to shape up and quit acting like a primma donna punk. If he does, great, if not, then kick his punk a-- to the curb and move on.

I thought Hinshaw skipped town?

He was not present in the team meeting today, and Derek Dooley made a comment that said something to the effect of "Da'Rick is not with us today." It was construed as Rogers being gone from the team, which is not accurate. UT has indicated it will not announce any sort of suspension for Rogers or anything of that nature, but Hubbs and I just hung up the phone and have been working this for several hours and continue to believe that Rogers must both do and show some improvements in areas moving forward to be fully involved with the team.

needs own thread IMO

So the rumor is that Trooper will coach running backs and be Co-offensive coordinator according to my trusting sources

and...

not serious

Hyams just reported that he spoke directly with Jimmy Stanton and Rogers has not been suspended, which seems to line up with what Hubbs wrote.

Fair enough. Maybe this is just what the kid needs. He's got the on the field production down pat, now it's time to mature as an adult and be a better team mate. Hopefully this will translate to his QB as well and they both come out better as a result.

Coach shouldn't have to wait this long to discipline the best player.. If he was a good coach it would have been done the first time it happened and we would never hear about it again.

Excuses? Sure you can call em excuses all day long. Why? Because you don't have a clue whats going on inside his head. Anyone of us can pick and choose, and form opinions over every little thing, but it boils down to whats inside his head and how he deals with it. Obviously he isn't good at dealing with and has some problems.

Oh, the irony!
