Good one. That reminds me of the commercial where the people are at the reading of the will of some old guy that died and the executor said he left his island and business to the young chick and he left his movies on cable to his only son.Apparently, He still has game, and I'm not talking basketball.
From?
Like I said in another post, I could see Pitino getting out of Loserville. He sure didn't have any confidence in the press conference after Morehead St beat them.
While the odds of Rick Pitino coaching in Knoxville for any reason other than a road game or NCAA tourny game are not very good. However, in his post-loss interview, Pitino did sound like he was burnt out and ready for a change.
I have a lot of family in Kentucky, and most of them despise Pitino and revel in seeing him lose to UK in their annual match-up. The UK-loyal fans combined with the legal issues and extremely high expectations could very well be getting to him.
I do understand the frustration that some have with the OP posting something he heard through the grapevine, but if OP felt the source was somewhat legit, I have no problem with it. This is much different than the codyg10 threads, as he repeatedly violated Volnation's trust with baseless posts. If OP is correct (albeit, it is not likely), I wonder how many of the bashers will apologize?
Its not like it matters. It was still a rumor I heard not like I posted it to get the so called ecred. I could care less about being a so called insider. So what if he gets hired its not like I all of the sudden have a better life for posting the rumor I heard. These people babble my mind cause they think I posted so I could say I told u so. I just posted cause I thought SOME readers hearing what is floating around from some people that SOUND like they are in the know. Don't expect any apologies nor do I expect it to come true. Only posted fir the few that enjoy reading the rumor I enjoyed hearing.
Boy that would be great in a few causes. He can coach and recruit and plus shove it to Kentucky. I live in Kentucky and these wildcats fans are something else. All i hear at work is how the NCAA hates Kentucky because they would not let Kantner play. Pitino would be great.
If the OP says he overheard it from some TSSAA folks they were probably talking about White Station's Jesus Patino. He just got mixed up a little.
BTW. I don't doubt for a minute that's what you heard. From now till something happens, you are going to hear every name under the sun.
