Rick Pitino Rumor was big in 2001, he was apparently at McGee Tyson with Dickey. Was named Louisville coach a week later. I was crazy enough to believe it that time

Pitino IS the only coach I could see besides Pearl rocking the orange jacket though so who knows!

This rumor is so terrible we ought to change the subject entirely. Buzz Williams? Anyone? I think we could get him for the right price.

Well there it is...You heard joe blow talking to that guy and this guy about Pitino....Bad news for you, Those are not reliable sources....So you made yourself look ridiculous in starting a FALSE rumor...Congrats :clap:

I don't really care but ill tell you this. If you had heard the guy talking u may have had an ounce or to of beliefs aswell. This was said that the intrest came before the interview with hamilton. Supposedly the program is not going to get hit that hard but pearl on the other hand is. If we keep him it hurts us and if we let him go no big penalties. For pearl on the other hand hs could see a two year ban from NCAA sports. Now does Pitino have a good job in louisville yeah. Has he done anything there? No. It makes little since but I could also see him saying he has intrest if the money is right. We do have money and we have the best facilities in the country with a program on the rise.

I heard a rumor from someone I trust entirely about a new coach at Tennessee, but I'm not saying.

Wished so, I'd take it! We'll he is "Italian", They make great BB coaches and recruiters for some reason like the guy "COACH" at UK! No, not raciest, just stating facts -Goes all the way back to Rollie "Villanova" and Louie "StJohns"!

After the way Louisville got bounced by Morehead St., I'm not sure I'd want him! HA!

But seriously, I get sucked into these threads, too, but it just kills me with the roller-coaster ride. Like I've said before, I just want the drama to be over. Go Vols!

Boy that would be great in a few causes. He can coach and recruit and plus shove it to Kentucky. I live in Kentucky and these wildcats fans are something else. All i hear at work is how the NCAA hates Kentucky because they would not let Kantner play. Pitino would be great.
