RPI Discussion.

Only thing that scares me about the last 2 wins is the dependence on the 3pt shot.
20 is too many.
Like you say pound it inside against Vandy and limit the 3s to 10. Big advantage.

I totally agree, but the thing about the last two games is with Thompson running the point, we've had guys in better position and taking very good wide open shots from the three unlike previous games; such as, FL when we were taking nothing but contested 3's. Let's see if the trend continues.

We shot 15 in the first half, and 5 in the second, great sign.

Upstate beat Mercer by 19! Mercer leads that conference and won at Ole Miss.

Just keeping winning, and everything is fine.

Just keep winning and the rest will take care of itself. We need these next 2 games. UT should be favored in every game down the stretch except the Fla game and @ Mizzou I'd think.

We are playing well right now. So is Vandy. They'd like nothing more than to give us a loss. Just take care of business.

Virginia is the gift that keeps on giving. Other than winning at Fla or Wichita St, that win will be the best one on the season unless UT upsets Fla at home. Xavier isn't half bad either. Their RPI is 36. However, they've dropped their last 2 including a bad loss to Seton Hall.

It's really a damn shame we could not get Kentucky at home this season. I feel like we would get them despite how well Aaron Harrison has played lately.

If Tennessee shoots well and stops Wilbekin in the paint, who knows what could happen.

I said that awhile back. I watched Fla play some in Nov and Dec and they were a different team from years past. Ky might be the only SEC team that beats Fla, but Fla isn't losing many games this year. I'd much rather have the two games against Ky than Fla this year.

Virginia is 8-1 in the ACC and has the softest schedule remaining. Only really tough game is Syracuse at home. All others they should win. Could easily be 16-2 in the ACC by tourney time.

Hard to believe that's the only really good team we've beaten.
