If I had to bet, I say they get in as around a 10 seed and the grumblings for both side will continue.

If this happens, would you consider the season a success BTO?

Not really. I don't think a #10 or a #11 seed is that comfortable.

There's a difference between being comfortably in and being off the bubble IMO. Off the bubble to me means you aren't one of the last teams in, right now we've got about 10 teams between us and being out.(according to Lunardi)

What BTO is saying is that we're currently off the bubble but you're right 10 seed isn't comfortable but it's better then being like the last four in or last four byes

I've maintained the same stance from day 1. You can't put a cut and dry, success/failure stamp on a season based on NCAA result IMO. Reason being because IMO if say we made it in as a 5 seed, end up ranked and win the SECT but lose a tough game in the 5/12 matchup...well that was a pretty successful season. On the flip side, if you stumble in as one of the last teams in, and proceed to get run off the court in the opening round, that would be a disappointment.

So if we get in as a 10 seed, and flame out in the first game, no I wouldn't consider the season a success. However, if we are a 10 seed, and make it to the sweet 16 before we lose, I would consider that a success.

Xavier lost at home to Seton Hall and dropped to 40 in the RPI. Wake Forest lost at home to Georgia Tech and dropped to 77. Seton Hall is now 123 and Tech is 141.

Tough day for our OOC opponents so far, Wichita just tipped though and UVA plays tomorrow, so hopefully they do better.
