it wasn't to play QB in a game. we haven't signed a QB in 2 years. We needed depth at position to allow them to be able to practice. His leaving hurts on the practice field now and certainly in spring if no one can come in at mid-term

No doubt... Whose going to run the dummy QB and whose the JV QB? We need bodies at this position. What about an injury to one of the remaining QB's? Do we really want Jones and Richardson having to take major snaps at QB? We need them to be our play makers.

Richardson has taken some snaps at QB this fall and Jones has in the past.

If anyone has factual information, please share. Apparently he has quit the team. It's not like he was going to do much anyway, but I just wonder if it has any affect on Ambles since Rozier Sr. is his coach.

I really don't think that affects anything because Ambles is actively searching for the QB of UT's future, so I doubt he really cares. Also, I highly doubt he chose UT based on a 23 year old walk-on who hasn't played football in 6 years.

That means Fromke is likely going to quarterback the JV team if they have one this year and he'll be in control of the scout team. I know there is one other walkon to but he didnt make the roster or anything so I dont know anything about him. Fromke is from Knoxville and played for CAK
