Robert Hubbs

Wife & I are planning on heading to Newbern tonight to see Hubbs play (After I take her out for a nice dinner)....... I haven't even see him play yet...
Looking forward to seeing him play tonight and for YEARS to come.

......as usual minimal competition.
Hubbs plays "sort of a post" some of the time because of his team and the competition.

I assume that the only good time to see him and evaluate him is during "AAU" type games when he can play his natural position.
We left at end of 3rd Q, since I assume he was finished....... as was I.

p.s. CCM was on the front row tonight. Many of these games must be very painful for him to sit through.

Played very good competition in the Penny Hardaway Classic, absolutely blew up. I think when they played Southwind last year he had around 40. He can play at a very high level when he has to. However, as I said he plays within a team dynamic. If CCM lets him and McCrae do their thing we could potentially have one of the most exciting backcourts in the country. I just hope they play together.... a lot.

Why is that?

He sits there until late at night when his recruit's team is so far ahead he gets taken out...... Then he gets to watch crappy basketball and he can't leave because fans would talk bad about him.

Then he has to drive back to the airport and fly 350 miles back to KnoxVegas.

He may be fine with it, but I left at the end of the 3rd quarter and had to drive less than 10 miles to get home.

Lol he's not driving

He'll average about 12 I would say. Any more and we'll be a top 10 team

Yup I expect him to be our 6th man and eat up the majority of the back up 2 guard. 8-12 points coming off the bench will be very good. He will have some break out games too I feel like.

.....ok I realize that........ I should have said "GO" back to the airport and fly back.

I now realize that it makes a HUGE difference that he doesn't actually have to drive the 15 miles to the airport to get back on the plane.

It's a good thing Hubbs has already signed, because if I were him and I watched the utter abomination of a performance that was the Tennessee basketball game tonight, I'd be looking to get out of this any way I could.

My bad, when I read it I thought you were saying drive back to Knoxville, that's why I said he doesn't drive. He very well may drive from the airport to the games...

It's probably only a what, 45 minute flight was my point? And on a nice private jet, not roughing it too bad.

I've personally known Robert for years and I've gone to school with him for a while as we're both seniors and we will both be attending UT in the fall. I'm excited to see him in orange and white and I have no doubt he will do great things while he's here. A sensational athlete to say the least. A complete game-changer.

I hate to say it folks, but Hubbs will fall victim under Martin just like that headband wearing tulip Stokes has. Hes soft, lazy and plays like a little girl. Does he play and act like a 5 star recruit?! Hell, Martin doesnt even deserve a player of Hubbs' caliber..he wont know what to do with it.

How old are you? 10? Maybe you need to go pound sand in your ass. I've never seen such a pussified representation of UT in my life. Do you run a florist store?

Go away. You are a terrible poster with an obvious agenda.

The same Jarnell stokes that's averaging 15.7ppg and 10.8rpg over his last 7 games?

Or the guy averaging 13ppg 10rpg in conference play? Not too shabby for a sophomore who's triple teamed every night honestly.
