RIP Twitter

So Musk sends Trump a love tweet asking him to come back, but there was a really good article online (WAPO I think) that went through the start up of Truth Social and the fact that Trump was given 90% ownership in exchange for a level of exclusivity so he would maintain a presence on the site. The article said one of the provisions of the agreement provided for financial penalties to Trump if he failed to do that.

Saw a headline, didn't have the time to read the article, saying going back to Twitter could cost Trump millions. Thinking this might be what's going on.

Fascinating.

Somebody @ him and recommend that he cover all the free espresso , wine machines and cover up the free food buffet with them 😂

You know, I'm generally okay with companies turning profits back to the employees. Like free coffee (my company buys coffee pods) or even a cafeteria type setting with free food. Even a barista if you're large enough and can afford it.

The excesses at Twitter were fairly out of hand though.

TIFWIW, this is one person's take. I worked for a company with a head like this and the strange thing is it can actually work. As bizarre and wasteful as it seems, a demanding but inept boss can pull awesome work out of his employees, but it's a nightmare. My company ended up going under because the financials were fraudulent, but mid-level and lower level employees did produce results. Whether this is true or not, all of this is believable.

Well, I certainly didn't learn anything about Elon that didn't already seem apparent.

And I disagree. I have never talked **** about my current CEO. Been here 10 years. He is the man. We do make fun of my CMO for rambling but we love him.

This has the same vibe of the "sources" allegedly in the White House with Trump or the Russian pee tapes.

Belief level is set about -66 on it
