One of those posters I really remember standing out when i first started posting. Had a funny side to him, and I really enjoyed some of his thoughts. I'm so sad and sorry to hear he couldn't overcome his struggles. Sometimes it's hard to know what goes on behind the words in a thread. I wish there was something I or others could have said or done. He'll be missed.

Thoughts and many prayers with the family/friends. 34 is way too young.

There's a pull on me that makes me want to help folks like me and him, and I wish I had a better understanding on how I could do that. Not sure if its even possible considering I'm still in the middle of it and it seems like I'm probably just a negative influence.

Years ago there was a thread on here about a little girl that posted, asking if anyone knew anything about the whereabouts of her father (a former UT football player that never made it on the field due to drug problems iirc). After a little while people started responding and amazingly, there was a poster or two that coordinated an effort to locate him and they managed to reunite.

I don't know, maybe that was all a troll job or a joke or something, but if that was real, and it truly happened, I think that would be such a positive example of how great this forum can be when given a chance. I like to think the story was 100% true...

After this ape I honestly think more about you, and regardless of whatever you believe, I pray for you to overcome these issues that may harm you. You're a good guy, and believe me, you can use what you've went through to help others.

Damn this is terrible. I always enjoyed his posts and he seemed one hell of a guy.

Not the kind of news I wanted to see this morning. You can't always tell what a person is like by their posts but I think Cyclops might have been an exception.

You'll be missed buddy. Hope you're feeling better now

I don't even know what to say. Never met him but always enjoyed his posts on here. My heart just breaks for those two little boys and his wife. Praying for some peace for that entire family. They've got a long tough road ahead of them.

Was hoping this thread wasn't serious before I opened it last night. I was speechless. Just put my phone down, said a prayer, and tried to sleep.

I was scrolling through the threads this morning and of course this one caught my eye. I thought it was a joke at first but obviously its not. Eye always enjoyed his posts. Praying for his family and friends. I just can't imagine what his boys are going through. RIP Cyclopskiller.

This is so sad to hear. I remember his posts, but didn't know about his troubles. Volnation will miss his sense of humor.

Wow! Talk about a gut punch! I will certainly miss his posts and seeing his crazy avatar. Always enjoyed his comments. He was a funny guy! Here's to you CK! You helped make Volnation a fun place to visit! See you on the other s-EYE-d someday!

I lost a friend and fellow Vol fan less than a year ago to the exact same thing. He had a huge drinking problem and died of cirrhosis of the liver. So sad!

So sorry to hear this. I also enjoyed reading his post. We have lost a member of our VN family and he will be missed.

My prayers go out to his family.
