Riley to USC…the inevitable Josh Heupel to OU freak out thread

I went out on twitter and did a search on the subject, here is what I found:

I appreciate you looking. Hopefully we get something more concrete. Thanks for looking

I did exaggerate on it being one single case but the point is that multiple California localities passed laws recently declaring any theft below $950 as a misdemeanor. As a result, crime waves have ravaged the state with flash mobs just rushing in and walking out with whatever they want with almost no fear of arrest or prosecution. Millions of dollars are being lost, maybe not in 60 seconds but the point is that insurance rates go up sharply and we all end up paying eventually. It started with Targets and Drug Stores, but the alarming trend now is high end luxury retailers. The first fatality occurred this week when a security guard who was trying to protect reporters during such a robbery was shot. California is a Land where naive Good Intentions by politicians Are Ruining life for everyone

Y’all take this **** somewhere else. This thread is only for needlessly overreacting to Heupel leaving.

Agree, Bob Stoops got OU up and running again, and Riley took it over. He'll have to rebuild himself at USCw. It's anybody's guess whether he can or not.
You guys don’t get it or don’t know but USC is one of the top college jobs in the nation. Better location, easier to recruit to than any of the SEC schools, recruit base is HUGE, their historical success is great, they have more money than almost anybody. The Reggie Bush thing & NCAA hurt them followed by the pay to get in scandal (seen anybody in a pay to get in scandal in any SEC school?) paused them to fire Helton but their deck is clean now. They’ll easily be back on top quickly.

I agree no one knows anything yet. If Okie does come knocking though we should pay Heup. I don't feel like starting from scratch once again.
I’ve been begging us to pay him extra since this LR speculation began. I think Danny White knows what he is doing. First time we’ve had a competent AD since Dickey

Oh GOD please NO
Nobody wants O'Brien lol.. and honestly he's probably got the best resume of anyone...sometimes ppl like a nice shiny, albeit limited, resume when looking at coaches....it's why those mid majors that make deep runs in March Madness generally get new gigs

Bob Stoops has returned to coach OU in their bowl game. He’ll pick Riley’s successor and it won’t be Heupel. Could it be UK’s Stoop now that he has HC experience and some success?
