He had a good game but "much better" is discounts Gibson too much. Gibson is a good corner. If he and McCoy can get back on the field, we'll have the best secondary in the SEC. We'll need them in November when our playoff fate is decided (Oklahoma, Florida, Vanderbilt)Colton Hood is a much better corner, anyway! JMO
They play at the same time. You need, need, need depth to survive an SEC season. Heupel needs to at least explore the injury issue. Whatever his running backs are doing, the rest of the team needs to do. When is the last time a RB had a significant injury, and they are the highest contact skill position.Colton Hood is a much better corner, anyway! JMO
OSU Playoff game when they were kicking our butts???? Like, literally the prior game. They play at the same time. You need, need, need depth to survive an SEC season. It wont matter.
I here shoulder joint!
Helps for sure, but when you have guys injured before spring and fall camp even begins it makes one ask questions. Is it the training program? Injury prone players? Is the NIL an issue somehow someway? Are guys sitting when they're "hurting" vs being truly "injured"? Dunno but I just don't remember things always being this bad on the injury front.

He's a top 5 talent every time he steps on the field. Unless you are questioning his desire to play, then I don't know why you would expect Boo to play poorly. Him pouting or dogging it in the game does not benefit him at all if indeed he is looking to move on in December.Im not gonna expect much from him and if he balls out I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
No, that is not what I am saying. So you’re saying there’s actual training to make you more durable?
I didn’t say I expect him to play poorly, what I was trying to say is I am going keep my expectations in check and be surprised if he balls out. To be fair, I do this with just about every player. He's a top 5 talent every time he steps on the field. Never understood the animosity held by some on here towards a group of fans who have been and are still hardy supporters of UT. Since I am firmly entrenched in the group of Boomers and Blue Hairs I resent the rampant millennial take on us. Come see us when you have supported as long as we have junior.Depends on if the blue hairs in the expensive seats get off their rears and glue their dentures in tightly I suppose.
Not one of @rocketskates less offensive takes but he has a poont.Never understood the animosity held by some on here towards a group of fans who have been and are still hardy supporters of UT. You’re good with me. I’m a boomer, barely, and pick at the “blue hairs” constantly in the LV bb forum.Oh geez guys, it was a joke. I save the real insults for Bama, Florida and Georgia fans. Besides I’m in my forties and I’ve been supporting Tennessee football for 35+ years myself. I’m not exactly young.
.Maybe I’ll come see you and tell you to learn to take a joke instead. Settle down “pops”. We are all fans of the same team and if you pay for a ticket I couldn’t care less if you sit the entire game; it was a joke. But I’ll also stand by my point that homefield advantage occurs when the crowd makes it miserable for the opposing offense.
.
Two points worth noting. One is when one has to say it was a joke it probably wasn’t. Two is when it is felt necessary to continue to make derogatory remarks I serves to prove my assertion even more. I can agree with your last statement however.
