I can confirm that I read it on another board. B)

Probably won't hear anything official if it's true until tomorrow.

I just want to know what he injured. I have heard he has fallen off a 1 story balcony and had to be carried off on a strecher. I am not going to take any guess at the injury but just hope its nothing serious and it was all percautionary.

how the heck do you fall off a balcony anyways?

You get drunk, and then you leap like superman.......until reality sets in and you fall back to Earth with a bang.

Anyway, 3 different posters on that "other Board" have confirmed it, but I guess we wait until the local news report it, or not.

Well, makes you wonder did we pull the cord to soon on Brent Schaefer?
If this is true!!! Schaefer looks like a genius!!! I know he's enjoying  every minute of it...not at Rick's situation though...but the possible QB situation...Well I hope Crompton is as good as they say he is...Jim Bob & Bo better be spending alot more time in the film room...somebody might get an oppurtunity..

Well, I hope Rick is ok, but I am not worried about the QB position. I think Jonathon can come in and compete right away.

Hey there Holbert. How is David doing after spring practice? Is he ready to get back in there in the fall and do some hitting/running/catching? I think Anderson is a beast at FB, but seeing what I have seen of David, I think he can be a big contributor as well.

David is doing fine...just doing some reahab right now, trying to strenghten the shoulder. Probably like early to late Sept. is when he'll be ready. I agree Anderson is a beast....They both are truly!!! They'll make each other better..we have that position stable...

I hope all this was just a big rumor....
Before I continue, I would like to apologize to Brent S and whole UT football team for comments I made about how BS left the team a couple of weeks ago. I think I was wrong the way I reported that.

I hope this isn't true but I don't expect Crompton to come in right away. Redshirt him this year.

If Bo is making such a strong impression, I'm sure he will be a competent 2nd stringer. Fulmer should just redshirt Crompton unless Ainge gets hurt, too. Starting Crompton would be bad for both JC and the program.

agreed....there is no need to have 3-4 QBS waiting in line when it isnt necessary. Redshirt him, and let him learn for a year.

Bo is terrible. No way in hell would he be a competent anything except backup practice squad QB. Are you kidding me?

Do any of you realize that Crompton knows more of the playbook thanevery QB at UT except Clausen and he knows as much as Clausen does. He's known for over 2 years he wanted to play at UT and has had open and total access to Sanders and the UT playbook and QB meetings.

According to Fulmer Crompton just like Ainge and Clausen will get every chance to win the starting job.

Then I would give the edge to Crompton. I have heard that Crompton is a heath shuler type player. I can handle that.

Why does it matter The best one will be #1 and UT will have a heck of a QB.
