The immunity may last for years. You can test positive even after recovery. The test is for the CV-19 RNA, which can remain for weeks after recovery. Also, you can have a positive test after recovery yet not be contagious. Those who test positive after recovery are asymptotic. Coach Jolly should do it with CRB zoomed in on an iPad. I’d pay $20 to be on the zoom meeting as an observer!

And you may be strengthening the longevity of your immune response by doing that. From sciencemag...

Because of these persistent immune defenses, “I expect that most reinfections will be asymptomatic,” says Antonio Bertoletti, an infectious disease specialist at the National University of Singapore. He says being reinfected might even be a good thing, “since you will continue to boost and train your immune system.”

I heard him coughing on a volquest podcast that came out Monday. Not sure when it was recorded. He was obviously speaking with them over the phone. Of course, I've been so conditioned that as soon as I hear coughing, my response is, "uh oh." In this case my response seems to have been right.

This season is in jeopardy. Lots of teams cancelling 4-5 games before the season even begins.

Dammit...I hate this year. I get the public health argument, but man just halting life for years until this thing is under control is a depressing thought. Tennessee basketball was legit one of the few things I was looking forward to this hellish year. I hate COVID.
