where’s this take coming from? Literally keeps bringing in Top 10-15 classes and landing players from the portal.

I wonder if Mizzou thought when they hired a first time head coach to take over a run in the ground program by Cunzo that they would take down a Barnes lead UT team twice...and neither in Columbia?

The powers that be like the AD will make the next hire....Not one person on this board will have a say.

Tampering was Yuri, not lack of NIL. And Phillips wasn’t a gift at all, we had to go big NIL to get him, get a clue. You do realize we have 3 Top 50 players coming in right? And sitting in a great spot with 2 Top 50 guys to start our 2024 class?

Say what you want about Phillips, but Barnes wouldnt have gotten him if Wade wasnt fired.
I believe Yuri was reported to have gotten one million from St Louis, why did we back out and not match it?
I know what the rankings say, but I guarantee you we got them because the big boys didnt want them. I would bet they dont come close to their ranking here.

We backed off Collins because SLU was threatening tampering charges against Tennessee and Barnes didn’t want that, see Tony & Abuja.

Lmao, Estrella had a Duke offer. Carr we beat Kansas State for who’s doing damn well this year. Dilione I don’t even recall, but Top 25 guy. Cade Phillips we beat Alabama for. You may wanna sit out this topic, you are showing your ignorance on it my man.

Why do think they won't come close and other teams desired these recruits, I owa wanted Estrella,Carr had plenty of power 5 offers and so did Dillone. The only one you may say won't pan out is Cade Phillips but he redshirts a year he will be okay

All 3 will probably red shirt actually, I saw a stat the other day only 10% of top guys make any sort of impact their FR year. Theyre here, if the big boys wanted them they wouldnt be. Theres a reason they let them go to TN.

Barnes has recruited a lot of good players. Recruiting quality players isn’t the problem. Filling all position needs is the problem. He’s recruited a lot of nice backcourt guys, but his front court recruiting has left a lot to be desired since Grant left. Hopefully Awaka and Aidoo will develop and Cade Phillips is better than his ranking indicates. A consistent inside presence would do wonders for us.
