Wow. That's a whole lot of sophomores.

Are you sure Rivera will be a sophomore? I'm pretty sure he'll either be a senior or redshirt junior. I was thinking senior.

Also, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Propst, Miller, and Loften starting, I currently expect Johnson, Martin, and Waggner/Teague instead. Still a whole lot of sophomores though.

Apart from that, this looks perfect.

No he wont be a SO, thats my bad. He will be a Redshirt JR. My bad :hi:

I'm confused on what the LB core will look like, we will have alot of guys competing for PT & it will be the weakest part of the defense next season.

I like what you did there at cornerback jmoore by moving Janzen Jackson to corner.
I heard Dooley previously mention he felt Janzen's natural position was at corner and that he wanted bigger safeties.
That would be a very interesting move.
If the safeties could play at that level and then having Jackson and (Waggner, Teague, Gordon, and whoever else we may get in this class) all competing for the other corner spot.

Jackson & Moore will be the CB's IMO. Dooley is trying to get bigger & faster in the secondary.

Dooley will keep Walls & Martin as backups to let them come back from their injuries in a good manor.

With the schedule, the experience, and the Dooley factor....we'll be beastly. 8 wins min...possibly 16.

Man we are THIN in upper classmen. 3-5 Sr. 2-6 Jr. starters or playing major minutes.

Just shows how important the next 2 classes are.

Just noticed Ohio State had more seniors than any other class on defense and their OL was all juniors and seniors, and none of that even mentions how many of them might have been redshirts as well.

I like how Brewer is improving, but if I had to choose between him on the field or Waggner, I think I'd go with the latter and his 5 ints.

Brewer looks like another DB who wants to hit but not wrap up, which = not good. UT needs to eliminate the stupid mistakes and turnovers that kill us every game--bad penalties, pick sixes, missed extra points, on and on.

I bolded what I think different.

Lofton not good enough to start as a true freshmen after being away from football an entire year, even coming in early.

I'm not as confident as you on Moore. Not enough to make him a starter. You are right, if he comes in. Lanier same situation. he is here he starts also but I'm not all that confident.

they plan to bulk Miller up and put in DT rotation. If Martin limited, will be Bohannon.

I think Johnson's experience wins out over King. King has to show he can stay healthy also,

I think UT will start 3 WR's most of the time, and play either the FB or TE but not both. The playmakers on this team are at WR.
