"The appeal for Tennessee OL transfer Cade Mays to be eligible right away was not filed until last week, a source said," Hyams wrote.
Totally incorrect information. I assure you that this information was filed months ago. With Players Getting Waivers, A Quick Update On The Cade Mays Timeline - FOX Sports Knoxville WKGN 105.7 - 1340 Fanrun Radio Knoxville, TN
That attorney is no longer representing him. Sounds like he withdrew bc of his role with the NCAA and the conflict of interest.
Still seems odd to me that Mays and his attorney(s) waited this long to file.
I'm sure they (Tennessee compliance) had to submit it late due to Mars not being able to represent Cade.Report: Cade Mays’ eligibility appeal was filed last week by Tennessee
It’s almost impossible to believe that Tennessee just now filed a waver for mays. Impossible. There has to be more to this story
You're probably right, but why it wasn't ready to be submitted when the AA announced they were going to push the vote in May is beyond me. he announced his transfer is January. You would think 4 months was enough time to get the paperwork straight, just in case, regardless of whether it was UT or Mars representing.I'm sure they (Tennessee compliance) had to submit it late due to Mars not being able to represent Cade.
