Not a good showing true, but give Pruitt time. WVU has their best team in their schools history and we are coming off essentially our worst. This thing went off the rails when Hamilton started to fix it. They will get it back. WVU should not feel accomplished since they beat us at our worst and their best. QB is the most important position and their's is the real deal. It will take time to correct 10 years of mistakes. Just chill and be patient.

Completely agree but remember who you are talking to. This is VN, the home of the most irrational fanbase in the country.

Some good things, on offense. Unfortunately, Pruitt and Helton didn’t utilize them very much. Our playmakers are on the outside and JG needs to be turned loose. Jordan was very good, runs very hard, can be an excellent back. Also liked what I saw of Banks at the end, he’s gonna be a hoss.

Literally saw nothing or no one on defense that gives me any confidence.

You forgot to add that they are the most intoxicated as well. Most of them won't even remember what they post when tomorrow comes.

It will take time. We did a few good things today and a lot of bad. It’s goimg to take some time to unbutch our team. I did just watch CJP in the post game, and the guy is a class act for sure. Going to be a great coach.

I'm relaxed. Acceptance of our abysmal team has a very calming effect.

Not a good day. I am fairly confident that Pruitt is the type of coach to identify what is wrong and will work his butt off to fix it.

So we should never accept being man handled like that. If this place wasn’t griping after a beat down like that I’d be worried.

But I do agree with the sentiment. Cry ourselves out tonight, get thru the tape and teaching moments, hit the tune up games, and get ready for a brutal SEC stretch.

Don't tell us to chill, don't tell us to be patient. It wasn't a good showing. I believe in Pruitt but this wasn't good.

I see the "relax" thread every year with every coach. It was all over VN last year when Butch was derailing. Will it get better under Pruitt? No one knows, game one was absolutely no better than Butch/Dooley at their lowest.
True, and I'll be first to throw in the towel on a coach. I did with Butch and Dooley. Not throwing it in on Pruitt as of now. But don't be telling me "Let him get his guys in". No he had alot of his guys in. Coaching adjustments weren't good.

Me too.... I've been patient way too long.... I had the be patient attitude with Dooley and Jones and I'm all out of it now. I'm joining the ranks of KBVol and the other miserable posters

Just about what I expected to see on here. Those who were negative about Pruitt after the hire feel like they have been vindicated. Lots of penalties didn't get called against WV, but they probably still win the game. I saw some positives but with a secondary loaded with freshmen, against a QB like Grier, well, he took advantage of the inexperience. What any good coach and QB would do. I still will back my coach. You others, well, it's up to you how you gonna be.

We fell far below what we hoped for, to say the very least. Now that we have a Football coach, I believe we'll see him working through the problems he ID's we could still have a good season. When one considers what he was left, from the "Coach for life skills", he did okay. We played poorly in quarters 1 and 2, but we continued to play in 3 and 4, that is a huge difference, last year we only played one half most of the time...

Um no this game was not even close to UK in 2011' SC and Vandy in 2016 or UMASS, UF, SC, Vandy, Missouri and UK in 2017.
