Dear Mr. Hobock,

I need some advice. Someone who at one time was a friend and confidant has turned their back on me. I have tried to show him the way by showing respect and understanding. He's just so stupid, why won't this person come back into the fold of love and generosity that he enjoyed for many months?

yeah grizz, i'd say it probably is.

however, i can't really blame a guy if the chick has given him reason to doubt. especially if he finds something.

She go through my phone all the time, I have nothing to hide. But she gets all bent out of shape about her phone. She makes such a big deal about it that it makes me wonder what's in there. She says it's like her diary.....

i may not be the best person to talk to about this because my last girlfriend turned out to be a compulsive liar and a horrible person. My reaction to her saying that would be to assume the worst. However, some people are really into having their own privacy, and she may just want you to trust her? i dont really know man. if she looks through yours, i don't see why you shouldn't be able to do the same.

I trust her but I got a bad feeling I'll see something that I might not want to see. If I do see something should I confront her or keep it in my back pocket and avoid confrontation?

I don't let my girlfriend mess with my phone/computer/devices simply because I have them geared to my preferences and don't like anyone (including her) touching my expensive stuff, not because I've got things to hide.

Nobody should go through anyone's phone. But..if one does, they have no right to complain when the favor is returned.

There's either trust or there isn't.

Careful what you look for....you might find it.

You need to let her know you don't appreciate her going through your phone. If it keeps up, I say return the favor. If you find something you don't like, definitely confront her.
