Regarding Chaney, lets get this out of the way immediately...

Is UT still getting Georgia's crumbs and unwanted coaches, after 40 some days looking for an OC?
There are no crumbs with Chaney. I hope he chloroforms the entire GA roster and slowly eats them in front of Neyland stadium. Just how Brasky would want it done.

Cheney will run a creative Pro-Style offense, last year Helton struggled to run a Pro-Style and at times I was unsure of what he was calling. Cheney has coached almost every position on offense and is considered one of the best playcallers in the business. He is a proven commodity who is great with quarterbacks and he is great at adjustments. I wanted him from the onset of this coaching search, though I felt there was no way UT could steal him away from the Bulldogs. This is an excellent hire and will provide some much needed experienced offensive coordinator stability to UT's football team!

The good part is we have a favorable schedule next year. We should be halfway to a bowl game before even going to Florida.

He doesn’t get a bye because he’s new. Chaney doesn’t run the complicated spread style offense that Butch installed. Schematically the blocking will work identically to the way it did last season (hopefully better executed).

The only difference between last year and this year will be a few nuanced plays and probably a lot more pistol. (Though I don’t recall if he continued this after he left TN so I may be wrong).

Yall take good care of Chaney. Could not stand him before and have no use for him now. Totally and completely disappointed. Honestly, I had rather have Jeremy Pruitt calling the plays. Wish yall the best. I am through if this is true.
Go flush yourself.

No problem we are a very patient fan base and use to being catfish on the bottom.
Only one way for this ship to go and thats up. It would be extra sweet to start
With a bowl this season. I surely hope Tee comes back to his roots. That would be icing on the cake for me. As i recall Chaney did not recruit his last time as a VOL.
Tee could fill in for him. Just seeing our National Champ on the sidelines got to

Just go ahead and let the door hit you on the way out. You may discover you like it and replace Vol football with a whole new kind of recreational sport.

I do not care one bit how ugly, unimaginative, dull, boring, bland, slow or any other moniker you can think of to describe the offense next year, as long as at the end of most of the games we have scored more than the opponent I will be happy. Just want to see us win 8 or more regular season games next year and I will be happy with that progress. I just hope for wins, not Madden like numbers.
Well we will be lucky to win 6 games next year just based on talent that we have so 8 wins and I say we probably have the best coaches in the league.

Do not expect miracles in year 1. It's a brand new offense to these players, on a roster that's not very talented. Schematically, EVERYONE is a true freshman on the offensive side of the ball in 2019. Regardless of the results on the field, no one needs to be calling for Chaneys head in year one! Let them recruit and develop. It's going to take some time.
I am very Happy with this hire, folks we have us a good head coach, gonna do it his way. way to go CJP!

I am actually curious as to why you dont like Cheney as the OC? What don't you like about this hire?

Can we expect Chaney to lose weight and at least look like a football coach, probably not?
What does a football coach look like and why are you so worried about some other dude's appearance?

He got super fat when he left but it doesn't matter if he can coach.

I don't care if he has a gravy IV in his arm while he calls games as long as he does a good job.

Huh? We have almost our entire offense coming back.
