Regarding Bailey-u should read this

Even Cam Newton knows how good Bailey is. This is an article written about Bailey at a camp when he was 14 years old. Bailey will be a Fromme type QB a notch or 2 better. Big kid at 6-5 / 225 but with all the throws. Really good fit with Chaney- I cut and pasted from the old article:

I hate the Fromm comparisons. Fromm is an above average QB with one of the best offensive lines in the history of college football IMO...........I really think HB's arm talent is 10x better than Fromm......

Bailey is an old soul when it comes to quarterbacking; he's had a private QB coach for at least half his life and is about as devoted to his craft as a HS QB can possibly be. Here's a Jan '11 piece on Bailey I shared in the recruiting forum a while back:

Meet our newest Youth Football Online All-Star selection- Harrison Bailey. Harrison Bailey is not only a great youth football quarterback, he is an excellent leader. Even at Harrison’s young age he is excelling at the quarterback position in the state of Georgia...He has attended several camps and currently works with highly regarded QB Coach Ron Veal. Harrison credits a lot of his throwing skills to his QB coach.

Just a few of Harrison’s accomplishments:

  • Harrison has been selected as a Youth Football All American two years in a row by O-D.com (offense-defense).
  • Harrison was nominated for Player of the year by borntocompete.com. Harrison has also been chosen as a “Prime Time Kid” by borntocompete.com and Deion Sanders. Check out Harrison’s “Prime Time Kids” video on youtube.
...During our interview he broke down several of his youth football plays with great detail. I have never talked to a youth football player, of his age, that was so knowledgeable about the game of football.
QB/MLB Harrison Bailey

Cool story, Bailey should print it off and put in the scrapbook.

But that’s about all it’s worth at this point really. Kid has shown great promise with an excellent high school career so it’s nice to see that he’s progressed nicely with age and has become an outstanding collegiate prospect. But that’s really all he is now.

Now it all begins for him in terms of how well he can adapt to and succeed at an SEC P5 school. Now we’ll see if he’s up to challenge of becoming the QB that we all desperately hope he will be.

How can a guy garner so kuch much attention for so long but yet get so little respect from the services? Yes i know rankings dont matter
I guess since Alabama didn't really go after him hard he's not all that good. He is in the ESPN top 300.

I think the reason HB doesn't get 5 stars is because he isn't the "dual threat" QB they covet nowadays.
He ran the ball pretty darn good for Marietta during the 2019 season...………………...…………….just sayin';) I think he was a 4 star instead of a 5 star recruit because he didn't commit to a "Blue Blood" school:rolleyes:

Don't get me started here. I guess I have no idea what a "Blue Blood" is in football. Not withstanding the fact that Tennessee is in the top ten of all bowl division schools in winning percentage and wins and is second all-time in winning percentage in the SEC, how are they not a "Blue Blood"? (rhetorical question) Rant over now.

Sadly the Media just doesn't have Tennessee is the same category as teams like Alabama,LSU,Georgia,Florida,Clemson and Ohio State. I think that will change in the future with the improvement in Tennessee's football program that will be occurring!

He saw the best player play..

lmao no he didn't. He saw a scrub beat out two better quarterbacks because 'experience'.

If HB has even close to the tangibles of Fromm as a freshman, or any other notable QB, he will supplant JG early.

A ham sandwich should supplant Jarette early.

He did.

He did.
A clown that hates a player so much he purposely goes out of his way to misspell a name like a three year old doesn't deserve anymore responses. Good day sir. Keep your clown act up. Its getting old.

It is really going to help him being an EE. He will be way far ahead. He’s a smart kid and will learn volumes in the spring.
Who knows where he will be in August

UGA offered. Most likely Coley. They did have a logjam at QB through 2018 when he was projecting his future destination. He grew up loving Florida, so we’re lucky that Mullen’s offense didn’t sell as a good fit.

I think Mullen prefers a duel threat qb. Bailey is pure pocket passer. Don't know if fla was trying to recruit or not.

You got that right!!! I think it will happen sooner rather than later. GBO!!!

If he is that good why wait, we all know or should know we don't score many points with jg. Don't wait till we get to sec play to change. He will have all spring and fall to learn offense. And Bailey is a smart guy 3.7 avg.
