Regarding Bailey-u should read this

Even Cam Newton knows how good Bailey is. This is an article written about Bailey at a camp when he was 14 years old. Bailey will be a Fromme type QB a notch or 2 better. Big kid at 6-5 / 225 but with all the throws. Really good fit with Chaney- I cut and pasted from the old article:
Harrison Bailey is going to be a multiple first team All SEC quarterback before he's done at Tennessee and probably an All American

But he been at camps. And recognized before he was a freshman...reminds me of seveth woods in basketball. Just hope performs better
Only thing I can think of as far as recruiting rating...maybe not enough camps or the right ones?...

If people want him to come, they should stop talking about how it is a foregone conclusion as to who will be the starter next year. If the kid thinks he's not gonna get a fair shot, I doubt he honors his commitment.

He already saw what happened this year.

He saw the best player play. I think he would like that.

He could want to rs a year. Who knows.

I fully expect him to compete for the starting spot. He will get a fair shot like everyone else. The one who gives us the best chance to win will play.

Nice read and I’m sure HB will never forget meeting him. In my mind Cam Newton was one of the greatest college athletes of all time. He’s also carries himself as an idiot.

Cross your fingers and hope the football Gods have finally given us our big time QB. We've been waiting years for this kid. Hope he can handle the pressure we are going to put on him, and he f****** thrives.

As the article read's, he's been under pressure/doing this, for a long time. I believe we do have our next stud QB that may end up being a generational player.

Does he get redshirted next year while JG, Hill, Maurer and Shrout fight it out? A year in S&C, learning the system and working with Chaney and Weineke without any pressure seems like a great idea. I guess we will find out in the spring. He may be so good they can't keep him off the field. GBO.

It's JG or Bailey . I can't imagine anyone else

So after watching the film, and keep in mind I am no football coach or make any claims as such, but the one thing Weinke and Chaney are going to need to do early is game speed.

The game is faster at the SEC level and HB is going to need to get rid of the ball quicker.

I think this might have been the only thing keeping him from that 5th star.

A great QB can take a bunch of good players to the title game. Remove the QB from any of the final 4 and replace with an average QB and none of them are there.

1 player at the QB position is the only position that can dictate where the football team goes.

The result of his lack of recognition motivated him to become even better at his skills than if he had been depth his higher rating from the Summer of 2018. He will be all SEC before he leaves Tennessee baring injuries. He has the ability to hit receivers in stride with all the passes; screen, sideline-back shoulder, over the middle, and on the go routes. He can throw the long ball a long long way. He will bring a demintion to the QB position we have not seen in years. He will also have speedy receivers which will make him even more effective. This was the class needed to get us back on the road to where we were and still belong.
