I'm maybe but definitely not hosting a private match, so I'm still not really sure what the deal is. I played again today and one guy got on and almost instantly got off. is that normal?

usually when i get into a match where nobody is in it i immediately try to get into another one. if you keep backing out and trying to find new ones you should eventually get to one that has some people in it.

for some reason also i've gotten everything for the US Marshall outfit...but it's not letting me buy the scrap at the blackwater shop

You can't purchase it until after you complete one of the later missions.

When you are supposed to "search" a place for a scrap of an outfit, what exactly are you looking for?

What mission is it? I'm already to the point of taking care of missions in Beecher's Hope (I want to try to take care of as much as I can before the Beecher's Hope missions end)

The mission is called The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed.
You can't complete it until after doing all the Beecher's Hope missions.

Hey Guys, I really enjoyed this game. I really got into John's story and felt connected after playing it nonstop.. Theres supposed to be 4 more DLC's before September, Im not really sure if I want to spend $40 on DLC's though. Just a heads up for anyone playing it. It really is a great game. YMMV
