Chris I just noticed your url isnt clickable. If you don't mind me asking, what phone are you using?

Freak, I am having the same issues as well. I have a Galaxy S6. Sorry for jumping on Chris's question just thought you may want to know.

That happens when you post a link or when you edit a link? Can you post a screenshot from your phone of what the thread looks like?

Side note, but what the heck is up with Tyger Campbell committing to DePaul???

The Big East is once again possibly becoming the best basketball conference in the country. And DePaul was a Big Dog in the 1980s... they just never quite made it into the Blue Blood Club and then took a dive.

I get the history aspect, but DePaul hasn't been relevant in his lifetime. I just was surprised to see him make such an early commitment to such an average school. He was one I had hoped we had a shot at.

Man, look at that conference though... top-to-bottom. Plus DePaul and Chicago. Where's that guy from? If he has zero connection to the area it does seem kind of odd. Also, the coach is barely above average and is on the back side of his 50s. Maybe he has a good friend already on the roster?

He's from Nashville as far as I know, but recently transferred to LaLummier in Indiana.

When he played in the State Tournament as an 8th grader I was told he was from Indiana and had come down to Nashville to attend CPA.

Oh, okay. That move doesn't make a ton of sense as CPA isn't exactly a perennial power, but it does make a little more sense why he was drawn back to LaLumiere and the midwest.

Might want to reconsider that thought as CPA had won some state championships and he was playing with Braxton Blackwell now Key.

They aren't Oak Hill Academy, DeMatha Catholic, Christ The King, etc., which was my point. They've had Braxton Key and Jalen Lindsay as the only significant alumni that I'm aware of.

Just seems strange for a kid to come to CPA from Indiana if only for athletic reasons when similar schools like La Lumiere are closer to home. There may be more to the story of how he ended up in Nashville.

CPA was winning championships because they were recruiting like crazy but playing with public schools. Lol

Has UT made an offer to a guy named Zion who is featured in this week's edition of Sports Illustrated and is from South Carolina?

If it's the basketball player Zion Williamson, yes, everybody has. But, he will end up at one of the bluebloods, Duke, Kentucky, etc.

I'm a little late to the party. I'm sure this has been discussed, but why no love for Mac McClung out of Gate City, VA from Rick Barnes? I know he made an unofficial in the spring, but no scholarship offer. He ended up with a good commit outside of the SEC. It just doesn't make sense to me. His sister just graduated from UT and played soccer for women's team (#1 recruit in nation back in 2013) and their grandfather played football for the General himself. He would be a great addition to an otherwise "personality-lacking" basketball team and for sure a fan favorite.

ONE COMMENT: I know he is a short and that's an immediate concern, but he can hop out of the gym.

Lots of factors probably led to a light recruitment, but his sister and grandfather having been former athletes in different sports should have no bearing on his scholarship worthiness.
